Loakum Ugh….scratch that previous comment. The upcoming Game of Thrones video game is a F’in mobile phone game. Why can’t they came an open world GoT game, like Witcher 3 or God of War? (> 3 Months ago)
Loakum By FAR, the upcoming Game of Thrones King’s Road was the Game of the Show! It plays like God of War Ragnarok! :) (> 3 Months ago)

But hey atleast the clear cache works...I think, I haven't tried it, don't intend to play NG2 anymore.
*A New Form of Change*
Overall I really enjoyed the game. I am not sure if I try to beat mentor now or play something else and wait for new patch. I can't wait to check the other weapons too.

Yet to buy this though. I finished the first game not long ago and I think wait until my fingers itch for more.

I have to mention too that framerate is really bad at some places :/ other than that it's the same old awesomeness that NGB had.

See, there's another one! :D
Oh you had Shadow Warriors? I always figured you for a Playstation entry level gamer.
It pains me to see the lukewarm response to NG2 really. It's the kind of game where I hoped it'd get top marks and people would love it to bits (gory bits, arms and legs like) but that doesn't seem to be happening.
I do still sort of look forward to playing it, and I hope it's worth that much?
@ Iso
I'll take that as a yes then. :D
I am neutral in terms of MS and Sony, I love them both and hate them both :P
I dont remember much of NG2 and 3 (NES) much, hated them, but the first NG...godly at its time!
NG2 is good, the weapons are GREAT, the blood and obligeration technique is fantastic to do, the after touch visuals for doing some of the power ups are awesome to watch.
But the only thing I hate is the damn cheapness and game design layout of the game, something NGB didn't have.
I can say this, you WILL have a very great time playing on Acolyte and Warrior thats for sure, but on Mentor and MN, the cheapness will really shine.
The framerate at some points gets bad, especially on Temple of Sacrifice (the long famous stairs with tons of ninjas coming at you. It's epic for sure though!)
And now the patch, which I don't need to point out because Iso pretty much said what its all about.
But I don't even care for Karma to be honest, for what, just to upload a video that I know nobody even watches them unless you are ranked on top 5 on Master Ninja mode...no thank you.
With NG2, I will say this, I will for sure play it again, but just for fun because of the OT, blood, music and weapons, so Acolyte and Warrior is for me.

Heheh yeah Sath that stair place was epic :P

I dunno man, the way you talk about it it sounds pretty damn wicked. :D
It's like.. you like essentially every new addition to it, and I already loved the Xbox game. To me it sounds like good times + more good times. :D
I still can't wrap my head around cheapness though, because there were points in the Xbox game that I thought felt unfair too. It was sort of a part of the game though, and you kinda had to grit your teeth and carry on. From my playtime with the NG2 demo my main concern is how fights seem to quickly deteriorate into OT spamming. You kinda go flailing your sword around for a bit until everyone pretty much agrees that THEY HAVE NO LEGS, then you hammer Y and watch canned animations.
I dunno, it sort of seems to mess with the flow.
It was a fairly short demo and the ninjas involved were prolly the cheapest kind to hire, so I couldn't really get a feel for the full game at all.
Based on your comments I do think I will pick it up though, and perhaps being prepared and having my expectations taken down a few notches will make me appreciate it even more.
I can also recommend that you will disable autosave from the menu. I save the game in 2-3 different save slots. One for the beginning of the level and others for progression. If there is some bug or you just play stupidly there is always option to restart that level then. With autosave and bad luck you could have to restart the whole game.

I've begun Star Fox Adventures now though and I'll prolly play at least one additional game inbetween, giving them plenty of time to sort things out. :)
But yeah the game is good, don't get me wrong, but I see you are saying cheap...NG2 has ALOT of it.
But if you are not the type of person who doesn't want to finish MN or Mentor to show what you are made of...play Acolyte and Warrior and have fun.
NG2 is more of a...*sigh*...button mashing, rather like the old NG (not NES) you could time your attacks for EACH enemy.
I got 4 MAIN enemies that will literally piss you off with cheapness.
Red ninjas - throwing unlimited fast double incendiary shurikens (explosive shurikens). You will get tagged even if you are in a combo which one blow up until you are down with your combo which has a large chance you getting hit.
Archers - lock-on from a large distance, you will get hit across the level (if you get the term). They lock on to you wherever you are and if there is small space gap they will get you.
Soldiers with multiple rockets - un dodgeable unless you are VERY far away.
The further you are the longer their reloading is, but the closer you get, they don't reload and does almost unlimited shooting.
Soldiers with single rockets - same thing with the other soldier class, but with one missle.
But hey, like I said, Mentor and MN is a bitch to play, so you are better off with Acolyte and Warrior.
Once you beat those two modes and go again with new game+ with all your weapons and ninpo attached on max, the fun is really FUN! :D
I never do auto-saves.
I always overwrite manually, makes me keep track of the saves.

On Mentor and Warrior, they add like 2-3 more in a very bad location for example you have to get across a gap by wall running...what do you do.
You can't dodge now huh...bad layout for the enemies.
In the pass NG, the enemies worked harder, they flanked more, their damage was stronger...not cheap.
But anyways, I am so tired of repeating myself with this stuff.

But until you are going to charge the bow for hitting them, they are already hitting you.
I think Itagaki thought it would be "cheap" to not let the players also have a explosive arrows...how thoughtful of you Itagaki :S

Pros:
- Awesome and intense combat all the time
- Cool levels for various enemies
- Replay value is off the roof!
- You CAN update the game and still play it without any issues
Cons:
- Too many boss mission not enough "Infinite enemies" mode, I love this!
- You can't be offline and play it, the Mission Mode will dissapear from the menu (wtf!?)
- Not enough missions or specific enemy type missions
- Too much loading cross the menus and screens
Considering I don't care about Karma uploads or anything, I want to have tons of fun just killing, this is a bummer you can't do it offline (for those that don't have internet connected).
But every mission will give you all the weapons maxed out on their levels, so its great to just pick any anytime and have fun and experiment.
But the Mission Mode is definitely worth a purchase if you love NG alot, and want to kill without the whole story thing (something for me), so it's great.
PS. I want Fiend Ryu from previous title back, that guy was THE only worthy and balanced enemy (except unlimited ninpo and incendiary shurikens) in the game.
I wish my game skills was as godly like that.
PSS. Alexei is a spamming shit!
*A New Form of Change*
But yeah I have said it and I will say again... mission mode on NGB was the best part of the game. Mission mode is great to play just couple minutes to get awesome feeling or many hours, depending on how much time I had to play.
Is there still missions with multiple bosses? Those were quite bad ass in NGB. Yeah fiend Ryu was great especially in the mission where there was 2 of them at the same time.

I updated the game once I saw when I didn't update it, the Mission Mode wasen't in the main menu.
So I updated and it was there.
Now I have been playing all day, all missions, and it works like a charm.
Now I haven't played the Story though, and I don't intend too either, not when I can jump straight to the action.
There are multiple bosses but not alot.
For example there is one were you fight Genshin first after a few enemy respawns and then that big bone boss.
For for example you get to fight to bosses at the same time, Genshin and Elizebet.
Yes there is one mission were its basically all the Greater Fiends (Fiend Genshin included) in one mission that you have to kill...not at the same time of course :P
But the Greater Fiends also have their own single Missions as well, and the harder difficaulty they will get minions.
But having one Fiend Ryu in this game would be impossible with all the countering and all, it would be unbalanced.
*A New Form of Change*
Well only couple multiple boss fights are enough. There wasn't that many in NGB either.
Thanks for the info. Definitely getting this stuff later.

But I am still bummed that there isn't enough "infinite enemies" missions, those are the best ones :)
