^^ i hear u sath, its sad when reviewers can't review objectively. how people can judge game by what it doesn't have mystifies me. no multiplayer what are these people thinking in their head.

congrats to itagaki for staying true to NG fans by not going mainstream or casual. thats a true developer who sticks to his fanbase

There are VERY few games that have a "guidline" on how to beat each single boss, and whose that did were usually bad ones because finding out through trial and error is half the fun.

I don't like the direction this is taking. A game is in first place is still A GAME for me, not a movie with some interaction, it should be challanging. It should require the player to go through some kind of learning curve throughout the whole game. Once it losses all these attributes that make it a GAME it becomes an interactive movie. I don't see a point in that.

It seems like reviewers become more of a joke the latest years. Some, I have no doubt, never really were into games when they were younger and just jumped onto the train. For me a reviewer of a movie/book/car/whatever has to have a LOT of experiance before he touches a new product, that doeasn't seem to apply to games so we get very inconsitent review marks and pussy complaints...

I don't think that's necessarily the case with Gametrailers' reviews though. I still prefer their reviews over anybody else's, primarily because they almost always back-up what they are saying with relevant footage.

Some of the footage shown in Gametrailers can be played in the demo. It was absolutely hilarious to watch the reviewer get frustrated in this one area when I scaled that one easily. I'm no hardcore gaming and I've never played Ninja Gaiden at all but I still managed to do better than that guy.

Do these people really play? Perhaps they should just stick with Wii Fit.

Not really. Loads of games are sub-720p on both the Xbox 360 and the PS3. Often the top tier, triple-a level top shelf content too. The idea that we would be done with aliasing this generation.. well.. was false. Image quality still has a long ways to go, especially when you consider the lack of advanced texture filtering on many titles as well.

This gen of consoles didn't turn out to be the supersomputers the manufacturers (especially Sony) wanted us to believe.. What else is new? ;)

I never buy into gameconsoles that way anyway, but sadly a lot of console-fanboys do every single time..

Still, the graphics my Xbox 360 produces still hold up pretty decent to what my current PC (E6600, 2GB, 8800GTS 640MB) can produce atm.. Offcourse not as good with resolution, AA-AF, and texture filtering (like you mentioned), but still pretty good for almost 3 year old tech imho..

I hope to see a new gen in +/- 2 years time, because by then the gap with PC will have become to big again.. I still predict we'll see a next-gen Xbox arround 2010.. Not sure what Sony will do (probably be late again)..

But I can not wait to try out my Falcon code from GAME on this upcoming Friday when the game is out. I hope it is not the gold version that IGN has a video of :(

Another resolution disappointment. Oh well it looked good when I played it but still... at least enemies brains flew all around after using full charged bow. Heheh that effect was awesome.

yeh, isnt it funny? wtf reason is there to only let certain people try certain demos? Its like...the game is coming out all over the world, why the f*** should it be fair to only let some ppl try it and screw everyone else?

this is why i liked when PC used to have the best games, cause all demos were free and available to anyone who wanted em.

Heh, so much for HD-gaming huh? I think HD came too early. :\ Thank god for PC gaming where you have uber high resolutions, 16x AA, 16x AF, and the whole nine yards.

yeah PC is already the most powerful, theres no game on any console that matches the gfx on Crysis, not even Far Cry 2. which kinda sucks tho, because Ill never have the $2-$3000 to spend on a PC that can run Crysis or games that need that much power with full detail.

funny how it seems like 360 and PS3 just came out and now im already thinking that a newer gen console is due out soon.
