WHAT ? only the top players can upload videos ???? What the hell is this crap ??

I only played chapter one Sath and left to uni. I guess it gets quite tough on chapter 2 then ... Oh dear!

and Shame on you for complaining about the difficulty. Get a grip you're a NINJA! :D

I always thought that people could record their videos and upload it for everyone to see, if not that friendlist gamers only, until you are on top of the leaderboards.

Well I don't care about some stupid Karma nor leaderboards, just want to upload my videos damn it! :/

So is the video upload for the first 10 people or 20 or 100 or what ???

In a sense, now that I think more about it, it does actually make sense. If you're on top of the leaderboards then you must have played insanely well and the videos you would record would have INCREDIBLE stuff going on them.

It is VERY harsh to limit this to top players but it goes with the philosophy of Itagaki Sensei :P besides, if it's allowed for everyone then you would get all sorts of CRAPPY videos uploaded. They want to only keep the best, I guess. Oh well .... I'll live.

I say they should have done this instead.

There should be 2 ways to upload.

One to be upload for everyone (public) were only top players should be able to upload.
The other one is friendlist only. You can only send the videos to the people on your list.

Well I am on chapter 2 still.

Man those archers can go and **** themselves, pisses me off.
They have auto-lock on so you are a big ass target even though you are trying to dodge as much as you, crazy.

This is on chapter 2, so I can't possibly imagine the rest of the chapters.

I fought Rasetsu as well, man are they serious bringing hordes of minion at you at the same time :S
The game does tend to resort to being cheap at times especially with regards to bosses. Level 3's boss was absolutely frustrating as hell. My roommate beat him on his first go using minimal herbs/grains, but I took like 3 or 4 tries and used a ton of herbs/grains. I maintain that it wasn't my fault though; I just kept getting grabbed over and over and over again...I could NOT avoid it.

It took me 3-4 tries as well, used all of my items, the bastard is cheap!
However, if your Dragon Sword is on max level a 360 rotation+Y attack when it closes up to you, should do the trick, or that blue face coming at you.

But the fishes or thosefireballs, wow, can't avoid those things :S

I think we're thinking of different bosses. Are you talking about the boss in the subway? I used my bow on him. I'm talking about Alexei(sp?).

Well here we go. Solving the problem of framerate, a quote from the gamespot review [the game got 8/10]
Leaderboards and unlockable, masochistic difficulty levels provide some replay value. You can also record sections of gameplay and upload them for other players to watch, but though this feature is neat, it isn't implemented very well. You're stuck recording entire swaths of gameplay, and the frame rate takes a bit of a hit when you turn the option on. But it's a feature that, like its amped-up combat, will please the game's core audience. If you're one of those folks, you'll enjoy what this sequel offers. Its various inconsistencies and visual deficits are obvious, but the fluid, heady action makes Ninja Gaiden II a great game.
Given that uploading is only to top players, I am turning the option OFF and will enjoy a smooth game.

Ron...I was thinking of the boss in the subway, the arrows helped yes, but not enough.
I am soon to meet Alexei though.

Well I have turned my recording off because I don't run Karma runs and if thats the case, Itagaki can go and screw himself with this feature because its useless.

Tests of Valor is like Mission Mode within the game, you go there and you get a bonus item.

Alexei...Alma!

I just fought Alexei and the fight reminded me when I fought Alma in Monastery, oh damn.
I figured out his patterns, but with so much visual effects and lighting going on, I didn't know when his grab would come in, but great boss, liked it, amazing music too :D

Next stop, Aqua Captial!

I absolutely HATE how bosses can just grab you ad nauseum with no apparent defense. At least in NG1 they somewhat telegraphed their grabs, so you had a chance at avoiding it. In this it's just "Surprise! You're about to get fucked! Enjoy!"

Alexei is a bitch, but I fuck him up again, just bring it damn black winged bastard.

I got the Kusari-Gama, the problem is, I do not have enough essence, and the only weapon I got that is all maxed out is obviously gonna be Dragon Sword.

This game is what was needed on the 360 for me. One tough bitch to battle through, and I'm stuck on that cheap bastard boss that is on chapter 3. The game is fucking sick, cant get enough of it. Need to stop soon tho got work to do

An unwillingness to use my herbs and grains is probably my biggest enemy in the game. I just fought and defeated this miniboss thing in ch. 6...made some good progress...then died a stupid death because I was refraining from using my herbs. I thought I could make it to the end of the battle I was in, but something off screen got me. I died, and the last save was back before the miniboss. No big deal except that I'm unable to beat him as well as I did the first time around, and it's driving me nuts!
