POTG was tweaked the last time they changed the medals. There are more assist POTGs than there used to be. Mercy landing a team revive is pretty much an instant POTG now. The algorithm isn't actually smart enough to know what a good play is :P
The healing medal is stupid. It should be some kind of combined support medal that includes blocking and other support actions. And it needs to stop counting self-healing. That's just dumb.

Since 7211 DaysYou should not get the gold medal for self-healing. They were so proud of this scorecard too! This was the iteration that removed the "final blow" medal. So they've completely obscured combat performance for several classes in favor of a medal that pretty much defaults to your solo support player.
Unless you're riding the short bus and Roadhog gets it :D

Going back to the Rainbow 6 tick rate thing. I do fully believe Blizzard will address the tick rate if it's a legit problem.
I used this example because Ubi is fairly incompetent in recent years and managed to update there's in a decent turnaround time.

Custom games already run at a higher tickrate. They'll only respond if people demand it. People aren't really upset about it. People are bending over backwards to assure each other that Blizzard is always right.

It's not a great site but it's a start. I wonder if this data is available to third parties. It'd be nice if someone else made a great OW stats page. Even games with deep statistics like Battlefield benefit from third party stat sites. I want graphs and shit!

Since 7211 DaysI'll try Mei a little more at some point. She's super good but I tend to go for characters with higher mobility. The ice wall does give you and your team some pretty neat traversal options. And she can neutralize enemy mobility.
She's cool I guess.
