Thank you very much. I've been waiting for your videos. The reviews for Avatar were quite bad or at least mixed. So I am happy that the reviews are very positive for this game and I am also happy for Ubisoft and Massive Entertainment for what they achieved. It's cool to see Ubisoft not applying their standard open world formula.

Only one minor thing. It's a pitty that those beautiful explosions with these nice particle effects have been removed compared to the preview version. And they aren't even available on PC max settings. The Youtuber Elanalistadebits showed this in his video. Doing always great videos this guy. Can recommend him!

I just watched your videos. Elanalistadebits is not fully rigtht. Some barrels still have these beautiful particle effects.

While it is cool to have raytraced reflections in the water/seas technically speaking (at least I believe they are RT). Visually speaking they look blurry on consoles unfortunately and I guess they will age like milk over time.

Looking forward to a PS5 Pro patch :D

So despite some FSR artifacts and some blurry reflections overall it's a great looking game!

The reflections in the water appear to be a mix of Raytraced Reflextions and Screen Space Reflections and the RT reflections only seem to include nearby objects and far objects are drawn via screen space.

By the way the soundtrack which was already praised by Gamersyde is available now too and it is not one album but two:

Star Wars Outlaws
Songs from the Underworld

Also available via iTunes.

Funny, the guy talking in PS5 video at 13:20 timestamp sounds exactly like the guy in Beyond Good and Evil promoting Alpha Section in the city :) BTW, image quality on PS5 seems very poor. I am not sure if all those DLSS and FSR, frame generators are the right way to go for the computer graphics. Thanks for the video.

It's FSR as far as I know and yeah, it's not the best choice here.
