That's me with most of the multiplatform (PC) 360 titles I buy. I better finish GTA before the PC version lands, or I'll regret that one too. I already know I want the PC version (mods, woo).. so I better just get it over with and pawn that sucker.

You didn't have CS 1.6 yet???

I cannot believe people are still playing that old version.. If I was still playing CS I would play CS:Source (same game, better looking).. But I don't anymore.. Started CS in 1999 with beta 1.0 second day they released the mod.. Finally got bored with the game (CS:S) in 2006 (after my clan stopped playing wars aswell)..

I consider CS the biggest FPS game ever (on any platform).. Even bigger then Quake.. Quake had bassicly no competition with other games back in the day, CS did.. And CS lasted much longer (still does)..

I wonder if we'll ever see a FPS game again that will become as big for so long.. It has to be something very special..

Great stuff coming to TF2 again.

"The Heavy" update is the largest update to Team Fortress 2 since it was first released as part of The Orange Box last October. In addition to offering new unlockable weapons, achievements, "The Heavy" update also includes a brand new gameplay mode and a number of new maps.
The rollout culminates next Tuesday, August 19 when the update will be made available to all owners of Team Fortress 2.
I love the support that TF2 gets. Also link has details about new free weekend too.

Now it only shows one of the new maps but there is room for 5 more announcements.

Yup, Valve is great when it comes to supporting their audience. It's not even as large as say, COD4's base on the PC, and yet they continually bring the goods. They're so good to their fans. Other devs could learn a thing or two from them.

So are all the maps going to be community maps? This is probably the first character update that I'm actually interested in. Problem is I don't really have time for TF2 anymore. At the moment I am trying to juggle between WOW and then either COD4 or BF:BC.

Man it's just so wrong. I mean Valve would want to give these updates for free... I think I read somewhere that each character updates have boosted sales about 20%.
