Too Human due in Q1 2008 + Denis Dyack interview (video)

Its meant to play like world of warcraft, but with far more action than those games allow. It's very much rpg in nature. Ninja gaiden or devil may cry style combat isn't what we'll be seeing here. As long as they work on some of the animations I have pretty much zero issue.

We shouldn't be expecting Heavenly Sword type animation either all I want is solid animation and a game that looks fun mission accomplished. Kotor's combat system (without pausing or it being semi-realtime) just more action oriented type things you can do. Thats all I want from the game and with all the other elements it could be a hit. They definitely have a potentially major hit on their hands here as it seems like they are bringing something not too different than what World of Warcraft offers, but with more action and an epic singleplayer story.

I hope the cutscenes are tweaked a bit though because I liked what I saw in the E3 07 trailer cutscene, but its obvious what needed work.

Like.. World of Warcraft? So it's time based, active cool downs, etc? Doesn't look much like MMORPG combat to me. If it does play like an MMO, they certainly haven't communicated that concept well.

It doesn't really seem like WoW to me more like a Diablo upgrade. I think it just as Hellgate is blending Diablo with FPS, Too Human is blending Diablo with action games and a very heavy dose of epic RPG-style story telling.

That's the same vibe I got from the more recent previews.

Well I like to think of it in the sense of basically world of warcraft, just more actiony. I think there will be cooldowns for the specials which are called ruiners.
