Incorrect. I've only been watching my roommate play Uncharted 2, but since the writing, acting, set pieces, and action are so fucking great, I'm finding it quite enjoyable.

got to chapter 15 last night, which is basically after the train mission and my god it was amazing. i cant get over how polished and refined everything is in this game. i wish all devs would put this much effort into their games.

Got the game today (had a GAME card with £38 on it, thought it only had £5) so have been playin a bit of it. Single player is good, not great, very cinematic but wholly linear so far. Multiplayer is the same criticism as the beta, ropey shooting mechanics and being pitted against players / teams far higher ranked (had a game where our highest lvl player was 11 and theirs was 40) is not fun in the least. Thankfully you can leave a game with no penalty.

I'm not sure how linearity is a bad thing...especially when the game is able to be so unbelievably cinematic because of it.

Chapter 21 has the best car chase sequence of all time. And Yeti Goats are the worst new bosses ever. So big, so fast, so deadly.

at the 75% mark now, and i cant get enough of it, i'm definately playing this again straight after i complete it, this has officially surpassed my favorite game of all time (previously MGS) at least in terms of single player, nothing even comes remotely close.

nope, MGS (PSone) was my fave game of all time (i usually play it once a year i love it so much), i hadnt once played a game that bettered it, not even the MGS sequels (although MGS4 came pretty damn close)...uncharted 2 however is pretty much perfect in every way. visuals are second to non, sound and voice acting is second to non, story is amazing, and more importantly, perfectly paced and well told. i cant fault this game in any way at all. and i havnt even touched the MP and co-op (other then the beta which i also loved) the game blows my socks off. i rarely play a game twice, let alone twice in a row, but i'm definately going to do it for uncharted 2. even now i'm GAGGING to play it.

ND have shown us how you make a "next gen" game, i just hope their methods rub off on some other devs.

honestly, the only other game i can see bettering this game is the last guardian. but it's going to have to be something truely special to do that. i have no doubt it will be an amazing game, but 'uncharted 2' amazing? who knows.

it is a remarkable achievement. Even better the 2nd time around, I was one the fence if I liked this game or batman more and i DEFINITELY think uncharted 2 is the better game now.

What an amazing ending. Game tried to break itself so badly in the last few chapters, but the ending made it all worthwhile. GOTY.

Just done chapter 19 i think it was or 18, the ice cave place, OMFG! best fucking chapter of anygame ever, just loved it

I am with Korn this game has poped halo ff and mgs in the head for me, this game is truelly fucking fantastic, so glad i got a ps3 :)

After beating the game and going through it halfway now on a harder difficulty I can say it's an amazing game, at least in terms of single player. The online part is flawed in many ways and while not bad, it doesn't come close to being as good as most AAA shooters on the market. But the campaign is easily in the top five games so far htis gen, probably THE best single player this gen.

As for Korndog's comments, I'm not sure how young he is to call it the best game ever, but it's a great game no doubt. It comes nowhere close to being as innovative and revolutionary as the early 3D classics like Mario, OoT etc...

I just wish they had spent more time on the sound/feel of the guns, as the combat is the only aspect of the game that lacks the amazing amount of polsih every other aspect of the game displays. The voice acting is probably the best in the history of video games, and hte level design is a sight to behold most often.

Probaly the only game this generation I'll bother to go back and play multiple times. While the MP isn't very good, I can't say enough for how spectacular the campaign is. GOTY contender to say the least.

i am 30 had every major console except the Wii, and as korndog i can say this is the best single player ever, and the multiplayer is far from flawed compared to most.

But what you have to recall is, opinions. some love GTA i think its pure shat.

The main problem with the MP is the matchmaking. It's a great fun game online but it takes a bit too long to find a game. The teams never seem to be balanced very well either. Also, I somehow often manage to die and kill my enemy at the same time. Frustrating yes, but overall awesome.

23, i've played games since i was 3, and nothing has even come close to uncharted 2. i even think the online is some of the most fun i've played this gen, if not the best. it's incredibly unique compared to most other shooters due to the traversal based gameplay. matchmaking has issues atm, but when you get in it truley is amazing. visually stunning too.
