Loakum Ugh….scratch that previous comment. The upcoming Game of Thrones video game is a F’in mobile phone game. Why can’t they came an open world GoT game, like Witcher 3 or God of War? (> 3 Months ago)
Loakum By FAR, the upcoming Game of Thrones King’s Road was the Game of the Show! It plays like God of War Ragnarok! :) (> 3 Months ago)

Apparently; "DK: Bongo Blast probably won’t be the only Wii game you’ll be shaking beats to this year."
Space Channel 5 with super obvious Wiimote microphoneage!? SHU SHU SHU!? Maybe Samba de Amigo? Going bananas with wiimaracas monkey business?
Seems the Wii will be seeing a tear inducing amount of Sega goodness. It's the F-Zero like teamup only dreamt of in the 90s. I'm gonna weep for a bit now. :O

Manhunt 2. It's like Rockstar's been around the block going all.. Bully and Table Tennis and earning a pantload of credibility for me, so now when they announce a sequel to a game I previously wrote off as sick and sensationalist I actually pay attention.
It's coming out for PS2 and PSP aswell.

Suda 51 commented on it in regards to Killer 7 and No More Heroes.
I never really played Manhunt, but movies like Saw and Hostel has actually made me a bit more interested in the subject matter. There is something pretty intriguing about the whole.. bringing it down to the most basic level of survival theme.

Xbox? Or maybe the PS2 original? It's backwards compatible on the 360, but I trust that about as much as I can.. uh.. throw.. Xboxes.. without....being exhausted.

Ace Attorney 3!! :D
The trailer is in the Capcom Gamer's Day thread aswell, but hosted on another - at least for me - slower site.
I love Phoenix Wright soooo much, and that's the last game with him in it. Ace Attorney 4 is about an entirely new cast. :O

Time Crisis must be a given on the Wii surely? Just a matter of time?

If anyone has this "HUH!?" moment right now, it's because the original was a bit low key, below the radar. It was essentially an RE clone with co-operative play. Sort of a teen slasher version of Resident Evil actually. It met with decent reviews and was just innocent, unspectacular fun. (Sort of like the games I was trying to put a spotlight on with my review thread some ages back)
Manhunt 2 and now this. Right, I want a The Suffering 3 now please. That totally doesn't need a "new gen makeover", just more weapons, more things to shoot and more bizarre moral choices. :)
It's perhaps a bit unfortunate that the PS2 is still being dragged into it, keeping it from the extra bump in textures and lighting the Wii could theoretically contribute with, but ho well.

It seems the gameplay is sort of repetitve and physically tiring! We'll find out soon enough though.

I suppose that's true of any lightgun game though. HoTD in particular comes to mind. Ow.
Ironically, that preview makes me more excited than I was before. Dead Aim and being somewhat indifferent to lightgun games (except Virtua Cop) had me rather un-interested. Seems like it's a fun nostalgia action trip more than anything though, sort of an interactive RE museum, and I can appreciate that alot. :)

Now I'm literally flying off the mountain and doing stuff with a sense of accomplishment that I never felt with the series before. To be truthful, after having shredded and carved snow by tilting the nunchuk I'm completely indifferent to snowboard games on other platforms.
This isn't the perfect game, or even the perfect Wii SSX game (despite the rather lacking competition!) but it's a frecking great first effort, and Blur 2 could positively destroy the competition.
It's one of those games that'll have me tilting my left arm in my sleep.
Music is great, completely composed by Junkie XL, it dynamically shifts ALL THE TIME. You add layers of "groove" when you do better, and the ubers feel absolutely epic with their own special sound tweak.
But yeah, as I was saying some things don't come off as entirely successful. The game has a pretty unavoidable sense of deja vu about it, because from a run standpoint it's a "greatest hits" SSX. The bulk of the first runs are all from SSX3, so if you played that game as much as I did, it'll take a while before this game feels like something other than a Wiimote/nunchuk combo version of that. The presentation works great for the most part, and I really like the 2D artwork, but in re-designing the models to fit the artwork they really just messed them up. They look glossy and featureless at best, and the post-finish line animations are pretty horrible.
That said, while you play the game the characters all have dynamic features like jackets flapping in the wind and stuff like that, and with the INSANE boost effect (Burnout style) your face will sodding melt when you upgrade your character. In short, once you play it all looks great. Not Secret Rings great, but pretty great.
Controls are difficult, there's no getting around that. What was once bordering on laughably simple, this SSX actually takes a lot of practice. This might put some people off, which is a shame, because they might never get to enjoy the feeling of actually getting to grips with it. I dunno if you can fault the game for this.. but I suppose it's just an unfortunate fact here.
Once controls click, they click though. It's like you don't get it up until a certain point where suddenly you do, and nothing really seems awkward beyond that point.
It's hard to get wildly excited about it, urging everybody to just run out and get it, but that's really because at this early point in the game it all feels like SSX3. It's also understandable that Electronic Arts went with this approach to their first Wii SSX game so they could concentrate on the controls. I expect a Blur 2 to be less "SSX Legends" and more "SSX: Dominator".
I'll prolly report back when I'm further into it because I've only played it for a couple of hours, but at any rate it's a great Wii game. If you don't find it awkward to play snowboarding games in spring (like I do, I must admit) then I'm pretty confident that I can recommend it.
