graphically it's nothing to brag about(well at least in those scans). Need to see how it all plays out in motion. Hopefully the gameplay will be good, because that's the only reason I will probably pick this up now that SC4 has been announced.


edit: forgot this was a Fall 2007 title, guess I will give it a try regardless then :P

Depends how busy it is I suppose. The graphics look basic, but if there's tons of guys on screen and the camera isn't normally that zoomed in it could potentially look a lot better than what's at display here.

I really dunno what to think though.. Namco rarely engages in these kinds of activities so it could really go any way.

That looks.. sorta crappy. At least SC4 is coming anyway.. I have a feeling this is going to be a little more forgettable than the actual fighting game.

Well it was always bound to be forgettable, but it could still be a fun diversion. Sort of like Shaolin Monks, which was surprisingly fantastic actually. :)

Yea it could be fun.. and as a fan of the franchise I'm mildly interested in what sort of fan service it provides. Not a killer app by any means though.. Smash Bros. is still the system seller for me.

well the last time Namco went down this road(kind of) was Death by Degrees, right? I wasn't a big fan of that game at all.

I think the best bet for a movie or a spinoff or whatever is the relationship and affairs of the Mishima family and their corporation. The devil gene aswell is prolly the most developed thread in the fighting game, so it's pretty weird that they didn't just make a DMC clone with Jin and Kazuya playable instead. I'd prolly play that even if it was slightly shoddy. :)

I recently bought Smash Bros Melee to play on my Wii, and OMG, game is a blast!
I loved it - Kirby ftw :D

SSBB will be so awsome ;)

That pretty much describes it. You don’t need an Electric Ball to unleash it, but you do need a Smash Ball.



Volt Tackle is unleashed! Pikachu transforms into a ball of light.



You can now control that ball of light for a brief period.
Hunt them! Hunt them down!



It’s quite speedy while airborne. This...can be dangerous.

It flies through the air wildly, so take care not to lose control.

If it gets cancelled in midair, something terrible will happen.
