GSY Video PS4

Some people expressed concerns regarding the base PS4 version of Shadow of the Colossus, so we got our console back and captured 2 short videos showing bits from the beginning of the adventure. As you'll see, there doesn't seem to be much to complain about.

GSY Live PS4

As promised, we showed the beauty of Shadow of the Colossus on Playstation 4 Pro tonight and now is the time to share with you our high quality replay. The video is only available to download for now, but as soon as it is uploaded on YouTube, we'll add the embedded video here. Enjoy!
Update: Stream added.

GSY Preview PS4

The first weeks of 2018 have been pretty quiet on Gamersyde but we're back to business now. After davton's coverage of the excellent Dragon Ball FighterZ, we're welcoming a new quality guest with the long awaited remake of Shadow of the Colossus. Inside, you'll find 2 videos recorded in resolution mode and one in the 60 fps mode. We'll add a few more in the days to come but because we only received our copy a few hours ago, we haven't had time to do more. We'll also be live playing the game tomorrow evening at 9:15 p.m CET if you're interested.
Note: All the footage we have captured was recorded on PS4 Pro.
Update : 2 videos added.

Trailer PS4

Here is a comparative trailer from PSX 2017 of the much awaited remaster of Shadow of the Colossus for PS4. A good way to see the visual evolution since the original release in 2005 and the first remaster for PS3 in 2011. PS4 Pro users will benefit from two options: Cinematic for better image quality, HDR, dynamic 4K targeting 30fps and Performance for a better frame rate targeting 60fps. Jump inside for the video and new screens.

GSY Video PS4

Sony invited us to see some of the games of their upcoming line-up, and even play some of them like Shadow of the Colossus. We were able to fight 3 of the game's colossi (number 1, 3 and 13) but the video inside shows the French PR doing his homework to be ready for a presentation he's doing tomorrow. More on our impressions very soon.
Note: We filmed the game while HDR was activated on the TV and it gave our camera a hard time. Keep in mind that the game looks much better than what we're showing here.
Update: Second video added, with a superb passage in a forest. Sadly, it looks a lot less impressive than the real thing, our capture being the one to blame.

Trailer PS4

The Sony conference was also an opportunity to admire a little more the undeniable work done on the remake of the excellent Shadow of the Colossus. This longer version of the trailer presented allows us to have a good overview of what awaits us early February.
Update: watermark-free and better quality version added plus new screenshots.

Trailer PS4

Sony released the Tokyo Games Show trailer of the PS4 remake of Shadow of the Colossus. And as expected of Bluepoint, this looks like a great one.

The great surprise and announcement out of nowhere during the Sony press conference was Shadow of the Colossus being recreated for PlayStation 4. The first footage and screens seem to do justice to this legendary title. It's coming in 2018.
