Capcom announced that three Resident Evil titles will be released this year in enhanced versions for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. Developed using the proprietary RE Engine, the games will feature updated visuals, including ray tracing, increased frame rate, and 3D audio to enhance immersion. For PlayStation 5 players, all three titles will also feature DualSense controller support with haptic feedback and adaptive triggers. Players who have already purchased Resident Evil 2, Resident Evil 3 or Resident Evil 7 biohazard on PlayStation 4 or Xbox One will be able to take advantage of these enhancements at no additional cost through the PS4 to PS5 digital upgrade option or the Xbox Smart Delivery system. An upgrade patch will also be available for PC users at no additional cost.

If you were waiting for a 4K patch to play Resident Evil 7 biohazard on Xbox One X, know that it is now available. We have just recorded 2 videos to give you a sneak peek at the updated version of the game.

Resident Evil 7 biohazard opened the AAA season in early 2017, so it is quite normal to see it return one last time to close it. Yesterday saw the release of the 2 last DLC of the game, The End of Zoe, which is included in the Season Pass, and Not a Hero, the free addition featuring Chris Redfield. We've chosen to focus on the latter for now, by showing the Xbox One X version in action (though you should know that no dedicated patch has been made available yet to boost the visuals - and it shows). We would have loved to add some PC footage as well, but for some reason, turning off HDR makes the game all washed-out, as if it were still activated on a non HDR TV. We've tried a few fixes we found online but to no avail.

Don't worry, this news article isn't about some new executive order by "dear" President Trump. Capcom just announced that the first DLC content for Resident Evil 7 biohazard is now available for $9.99/€9.99/£7.99 - unless you've purchased the season pass or the Deluxe Edition, in which case it will be free. Details about volume 1 and 2 are inside, along with a brand new trailer.

After our PS4 and PC footage, here are some videos of the Xbox One version of Resident Evil 7 biohazard. You'll only see the very beginning of the adventure, therefore no real spoilers to be feared.

What better way to conclude our direct feed footage of Resident Evil 7 biohazard than to show you the PC version fully maxed out. The following extracts will finally show you the highlights of the very effective introduction of the game (if you plan on buying it, beware). The second part of the last video proves it is possible to avoid detection when Jack is after you right after the dinner scene.
Note: The aiming reticle was deactivated during capture.
