GSY Video PC PS4 Xbox One

As you know, we've been equipped with a 4K capture card for months now, but things haven't been as easy as we hoped when it comes to providing you with 4K content. We quickly realized that our SSD was not fast enough to record lossless content with Amarec, but while OBS should have given us an alternative, though with compressed footage this time, we were never able to get a smooth result and it didn't make sense. Lossless recording being totally random, with sequences which would be captured correctly and others with missing frames everywhere, we had to go through hell to be able to give you some Horizon: Zero Dawn 4K footage that looked good. With the upcoming release of the new Xbox, we were starting to believe the future of Gamersyde would have to be written without 4K...

First 10 minutes PC PS4 Xbox One

Since we had to buy RiME ourselves, we first decided not to give the game any coverage considering all the content which had already been made available everywhere else. Then we were finally sent a code, an hour or so before the game was officially released on Steam, which didn't really change our mind to be honest. After launching it though, we felt we had to give you a glimpse of its beauty in good quality, so YouTube would not be the only way to see the game in action. We can't tell you anything about its length, or even its poor optimization on consoles or even PC, as we haven't seen the game on Xbox One or PS4, and our very little time with it has not allowed us to see anything wrong on PC in terms of performance. We've heard that even powerful rigs can have a hard time maintaining good FPS in later sections, but so far we haven't seen anything noteworthy in that regard. Feel free to share your experience with the game in the comments.
