With the benefit of the new FPS boost mode on Xbox Series X or recent updates, some Ubisoft games are not playable with a smooth 60 fps framerate. Ghost Recon Breakpoint was patched recently to add a performance mode while Far Cry 4 and Watch_Dogs 2 take advantage of the hardware to double the original framerate without the need of an official update by the publisher. On the flip side, image quality is still the same so they look like base Xbox One games.

Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Breakpoint had what we could call a rough beginning, to say the least. It was justified obviously, the game they released a few months back was nowhere near the one they had advertised in the first place, and there were so many things wrong with it that it made fans and newcomers disappointed. The recent update which came finally allows players to get rid of all that game-as-service layer if they want to. This also means that it's possible to tweak the experience in order for the game to be more interesting to those in dire need of a co-op stealthy approach. We haven't had the time to try it ourselves but maybe some of you did, but since we can now record HDR content on PC we figured you wouldn't mind getting more in Breakpoint. Enjoy!

It's the turn of the PS4 Pro version of Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Breakpoint to be shown on Gamersyde. We chose to record our videos in the "Resolution" mode which simulates 4K (the game actually runs in 1800p). As with the other versions of the game, there are quite a lot of bugs, including the absence of audio tracks during some cutscenes and even the disappearance of some of the sound effects at times.

Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Breakpoint is now available to those who preordered the game but the official release is still on October 4. We were sent a review code yesterday so videos of the final version are on their way. We'll start with the PC benchmark tool, which is pretty detailed we must say. As you'll see, our configuration (RTX 2080 Ti and i9 9900K) allows us to play almost fully maxed out (with a bunch of settings on ultimate except for volumetric fog, set to high only) in 1440p. Considering we don't have the Nvidia drivers which will undoubtedly come out this week and the ultimate settings are meant for future hardware too, it's not too bad in terms of performance. We'll see how it goes in game though, especially after the new Nvidia drivers are made available.

The latest gameplay trailer of Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Breakpoint gives a rundown of the title's world, story, co-op experience, and post-launch content. The military shooter will be out October 4th.

The Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Breakpoint beta is also available on consoles and since we got our hands on an Xbox One code, we decided to capture the first 20 minutes of the game on One X. This new episode in the series seems to be even more ambitious than Wildlands in terms of graphics and gameplay. Textures are very detailed, the amount of details in the landscapes is pretty amazing and most animations have been obviously improved. Gameplay wise, what we've played has made us earger to review the final version, but you'll have to wait until October to read our verdict. Until then, check out the 2 videos inside.

Ubisoft has released a new live action trailer for Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Breakpoint as well as detailsabout the upcoming closed beta and the first year of post-launch content. Jump inside for all that.

Today during the Inside Xbox episode from Gamescom, Ubisoft revealed Ghost War, the 4v4 PvP mode for Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Breakpoint which will be available at launch on October 4. To try the game and this newly revealed mode, a beta will takes place September 5-8.

The latest trailer of Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Breakpoint showcases the features of the PC version such as the implementation of AMD FidelityFX and Tobii's eye tracking technology. The game is slated to release on October 4th.
