E3: High quality Gran Turismo 5
Video PS3

As promised, here come the very high quality Gran Turismo 5 videos. The first one shows some Rally at dusk, at 60 fps of course. As usual for E3 we are having a lot of technical issues, so there are some nasty macroblocks on the video, but it still looks great.
Update: Added a replay video, rather incredible looking, and a second 60 fps gameplay video.
Update 2: Added a last video, showing another great replay in Rome.

No damage? Is it not active in this build or just turned off?

Can I also enquire about the sound, I appreciate its not the best environment, but can you tell if it's any good. Prologue had pretty poor sounds IMO and would like to see them vastly improved.

I don't know what are you talking about mate but GT5 has the most beautiful 1 on 1 looking environment ever seen on any racing game :D

That Rally leaves a lot to be desired, jesus christ so much hype for that? Well at least it's included and another bullet point can be added to the list, even if no one will bother with half baked concepts derivated from the normal racing.

And even those are oversampled screens with the magic of bullshotery to get rid of jaggies and whatnot.

Master are back indeed, filling your eyes with as much fake possible as MS Demos on Their E3 Conference.
The funny thing is that the true game DOESN'T look bad or anything to start, they just like to lie on their PR Media to vindicate their bullshotery degree.

I agree Forza was rushed, why, I have no idea. But more cars, better lighting, and Neckcar doesn't make for a better playing game.

And STFU before you say anything. Because no-one here has played GT5 yet.

Good Lord...people just can't seem to behave themselves when it comes to this game...I mean you would think that one or more driving games actually could coexist without all the bunched up undershorts and flailing handbags found in literally every single thread related to this game.

On point, the day and night stuff looks superb, I wonder if it is only reserved for specific tracks though...

@dargis49, im from france played the demo at lemans 24, and the GamePlay was as fantastic as the graphics.

also there is a review Demo on youtube explaining all the new driving physics and improved AI.


@dohr07 thats nurburgring nordschleife, at least GT5 has the most accurate 1:1 nordschleife track design unlike other games....

Any news on a realeasedate? Because it's pretty sad the GT5 experience has been nothing but looking at video's and screenshots for so long now with no actual game to play..

It's competitor FM3 wasn't perfect (expecially the removal of being able to host a public custom lobby online was a major dissapointment for me), but at least it's been out for quite some time now..

Unless the game has a non realistic arcade mode, they can't have full damage, only partial damage, it's a legal issue with car manufacturers.

the trailer blew me away, there where times i thought i was watching real footage during the top gear test track. wont be buying it since i dont like sim racers. but it looks GORGEOUS

Looking awesome, very much looking forward to this.

Can't say too much, the stupid Forza/GT trolling on both sides shows some people don't buy these games to enjoy them, just to fight some pathetic made up in their own head war...
