Because a demo of Mass Effect 2 was released yesterday on Xbox 360 and PC, Bioware gives you a chance to catch up if your memory is closer to Swiss cheese than anything else. This video will remind you a bit of what happens in the first game, so I strongly advise you do not watch it if you have not played Mass Effect and intend to do so someday.

Didn't MS buy the exclusive rights for Mass Effect 1 before EA took over BioWare? If Sony wants in on the franchise, I think they have to start from ME2. Maybe that is why this video was made with Martin Sheen as narrater. :)

maybe. maybe not, but Mass Effect IP/Publishing rights were never transparent.

It's kinda late for a port... just see @ bioshock and how it bombed hard on PS3, and the sequel didn't do much better. It tends to be the case when a PC version is available, the interest for a PS3 version fades away.
