This looked quite good, I thought. But after their last few releases, I really don't know of it's going to be any good. I love the style of it though. I just hope they don't pull a 'fuse' and change the art style to something massively generic.
Insomniac seems to still be too stuck on making their games with that cartoonist look. It was all good for Ratchet, but can't they find a new style art for their games other then this cartoonist style. It's like everyone at Insomniac is stuck in their childhood faze....
Yeah, it's got color and a cartoony look, can't possibly be good. We all know that for a game to be good it has to have buff space marines or realistic graphics and a military theme. No cartoony looking game was ever fun to play or entertaining. /sarcasm.
Such a shame they are wasting one of their studio sections on an Xbox One game. EVERY person I have talked to about FUSE said it "looked crap". The same person every time thought Dead Island Shitide was a class game. Oh and of course they were an Xbox fan. They don't appreciate your work at all Mister Price and yous are wasting your time I'm afraid :(

It doesn't have to have "buff space marines or realistic graphics and a military theme", but it would be nice if Insomniac got out of this trend of every game they make looking like a cartoon.
As long as it isn't a generic shooter, maintains this same exact artstyle, and isn't actually afraid of trying some fun and crazy ideas, this game will keep my attention and eventually get a purchase.
They are just strongly advised to stay away from generic shooters. Resistance, Fuse, etc. Anything like that and they are wasting their time. But this seems like it could be more along the lines of their ratchet stuff, but in a more open world setting, so I'm cautiously optimistic. I like when games aren't afraid to just be games, and this game seems like it will be pretty wacky, at least that's the impression that the trailer gives me.

I think this is where the fuse artstyle ended up..it certainly had me thinking of the fuse reveal when I first saw it.
Looks fun anyway..and we really are getting close to CG movies now aren't we
