GSY Video Xbox One

We have been among the lucky ones to receive an Xbox One X beforehand, something like 4 days ago. it didn't leave us much time to download the games and record some gameplay footage, but we did our best as usual. Inside, you'll find a bunch of videos showing titles that have already been updated with their Xbox One X patch. Most of them are Xbox One games obviously, but we also have 3 iconic 360 titles to show you with a massive bump in resolution. Finally, we have tried the first Project CARS to see what forced v-sync and anisotropic filtering can do to a game that hasn't been patched for Xbox One X. If you want to compare, see the last base Xbox One footage we captured back in 2015.
Note: Some games are yet to receive their Xbox One X update, so we'll try to be thorough and propose more videos later.

A PC that can run those games with a sharper image quality doesn't cost $500 (and makes way more noise ^^).

Three questions i have are a) are the menus faster b) can you get 4k UI menus supersampled on a 1080p tv and c) how quiet is it? Im getting tired of ps4 pro's jet engines

a) Menus can still be a bit slow (it happened to me last night, but maybe there were too many things going on), but overall, I'd say it's pretty good.
b) The interface is not in 4K, it's 1080p.
c) It is as quiet as Miguel, which says a lot.

They are as sharp as can be. I don't know how it can be sharper?
Well the specific example you used (quantum break) is rendering natively at 1440p and is being temporally reprojected to 4k, which gives even softer results than that of checkerboarding (based on digital foundry analysis). If it was native 4k it would be sharper, and thus it is currently not as "sharp as can be"

You can play native 1080p which has no temporal reprojection at all.

IS Pcars1 running at native 4K ? It could see the fps drops to 45 in the first video. On 1080P TV does the up sampling makes a difference ?

Non-patched games can use more GPU power (I don't know about CPU power), so if the GPU was limiting they can get higher framerates, and if they use dynamic resolution they can go more often up to the limit the devs put in the games.

So non-patched games runs at the same resolution unless they have dynamic resolution, but even with that it will depend on the games and go up to 900p or 1080p until patched (if they will).

For example BF1 should have a better resolution now as it's dynamic.

Also, every games (even BC games) now have 16x AF forced and vsync to avoid tearing and have better texture filtering.
