Xbox 360 PS3

Pure really impressed us at the Games Convention with its over the top gameplay and a very impressive engine, and this tricks featurette certainly doesn't prove us wrong. Arcade fans, keep an eye open for this game!

The game looks impressiv, really impressiv. But that trick 'n stunt thing is nothing for me. I wanna race for a first place, not doing weird stuff in the air. I imagine that this is gonna get very very boring after a few hours... But however, I'm gonna load the demo, and give it a try =)

But you don't buy a snowboard game for racing.

I'm on the same line here as Hrimthur. The game looks awesome, but the tricks looks pretty bland and eventually you get tired of having to do a tricks in order to win. Hope I'm wrong though, but a mode which let you utilize all the boost you want without having to do any tricks would be sweet.

as i said to hrimthur, the problems you have could be applied to SSX, yet that remained fun and STILL remains fun today. they use the same mechanics so they share a lot of similarities. difference being the choice of transportation. they are both just as much about tricks as they are about racing, thats what makes them so fun. it mixes things up a bit. its not just about taking every corner perfectly and placing first like every other racer in existance, its about doing tricks, to get boost, the help fight for the lead. PURe and SSX arnt suposed to be straight up racers.

SSX is a great, great racing game. I just hope this game carries the same sense of risk versus reward that SSX did. It looks fantastic though, I'm really digging it.
