Gamersyde est un site de média-information consacré à l'actualité du jeu-vidéo consoles et PC, et spécialisé dans la production et diffusion de vidéos de haute qualité à très haut bitrate dans leur résolution et framerate d'origine. À l'heure où la compression vidéo exagérée devient de plus en plus la norme sur Internet, Gamersyde est le dernier petit village gaulois à encore résister à l'envahisseur Youtube. Toutes les vidéos sont disponibles en téléchargement et en streaming, jusqu'en 4K et 60 images par seconde dans les deux cas, et dans une qualité largement supérieure à celle de Youtube pour le streaming. Nous sommes également en mesure d'enregistrer des extraits de jeu en HDR pour les joueurs équipés d'écrans compatibles. L'intégralité de notre contenu est gratuit, et accessible en français ainsi qu'en anglais.

Inscrit depuis 7427 JoursAnd honestly.. there are big fanboys and trolls there on both sides. But no other forum has nearly as much developer and media interaction. You can blame NeoGAF for the negativity, but it's not really their fault. Nor is it Reddit's fault. Or any other internet "hivemind." The reality is that there are individuals representing individual opinions in all of those sorts of places. From a variety of perspectives.
That public perception isn't really local to NeoGAF anyway.

If you don't care for Microsoft's sparse first party, you're not left with a lot else to consider than specifications. That's not a bad thing to consider. That's value for you dollar, especially in a world where most AAA games are multiplatform. Why would anyone without a serious interest in something like Killer Instinct want an Xbox One right now? You have to want one of those exclusives enough for it to make sense to pay more for less.
And if you do.. wonderful. But if not.. there's nothing wrong with making a decision based on specifications.

My overall assertion is that the tech shouldn't hold you back if there are games you want for it. What good is a high tech gadget you don't use for it's intended purpose( as in that particular individuals case)?

Apparently they created their own silicon lab just to manufacture specific Kinect components. Wow. They're never going to profit on any of this...

In 10 years Sony probably won't be able to borrow enough against their credit rating to compete. And Microsoft will most likely have spun off the Xbox or merged it into some hybrid Surface/Windows Phone device.
Meanwhile Nintendo is steadily profiting even while the Wii U slumps. Maybe Iwata knows exactly what he's doing.
