Loakum Ugh….scratch that previous comment. The upcoming Game of Thrones video game is a F’in mobile phone game. Why can’t they came an open world GoT game, like Witcher 3 or God of War? (> 3 Months ago)
Loakum By FAR, the upcoming Game of Thrones King’s Road was the Game of the Show! It plays like God of War Ragnarok! :) (> 3 Months ago)

As far as Ghost goes. The game is pretty bad on PC as well. Guru3d benchmark int the second chart which is little more than 1080P is not showing great performance as it should:http://www.guru3d.com/articles_pages/call_od_duty_vga_graphics_performance_benchmark,6.html
I think exclusives is the most important for consoles and specs too. Xbone or XO whatever people are calling it is trying to win living room for family. I think both will succeed but both have different goals.
I think alot of people (especially the doom and gloomers) are going to be surprised this generation.

They should have dropped the resolution on Killzone, at 720p, they most likely could have kept a rock solid 60fps in single player/multiplayer and it would look a lot better for it. ~45fps just isn't good enough for competitive MP, especially when it drops as low as 36fps.
Knack is just awful.
Resogun looks great, they layout/idea reminds me of Nights :D
Marumaro for the WIN !!

These patched resolutions are a bit weird. But 1080p is 1080p.

Rivals:
I laugh at all the talking heads saying they may be able to gain more resolution out of the xbone and in the same breath saying it doesnt matter anyway. If resolution didn't matter we'd all be watching dvd's and playing 3ds games upscaled on our tv's. The xbox isn't even a true 1.2TF part, its ddr3 RAM and 32mb ESRAM are massive bottlenecks that reduce its capability further from what a native PC GPU could do with dedicated GDDR RAM. They may be able to close the gap a little, but in the same time they eek more performance of the xbox they will gain performance from the PS4.
It has really annoyed me seeing how people are surprised at the performance differences, it's like they totally ignored the specs and what people were telling them when analysing them. Now they're relying on some magic and MS to break the laws of physics to close the gap.
the only tyrant I accept is my inner voice [and my two kids ;)]
ultimate gamers threat: "Watch it, or I'll spoil you all!"
3DS is pretty popular but the games looks like ass.
I agree with the majority of your post though, but fanboys will convince themselves that resolution doesn't matter and be happy with their purchase regardless.

Regarding the install/time-to-start-playing, it sounds like microsoft needs do some rearranging there to cut down on the wait time.
A different question is how long it will take to start digital purchased. today, on 360 and ps3 i get about 3x the bandwidth from xbox live than from psn. dunno if this is the rule elsewhere, but it's the same with all my friends around here. Might just be poor support in my country/region. This could drastically impact digital purchases, especially with games as large as 40-50GB. I don't have psn+, so dunno if sony's got bandwidth allocation according to subscription level. Also, i don't have a xbox one or ps4 (they haven't even launched here yet), so it might be different on them.

since i'm here:
Elbowing into the tussle is, as always, the PC version with its higher-grade particle and alpha effects, superior object draw distance and more refined shadow detailing at ultra settings. But it must be commended just how much of this maxed-out experience translates to next-gen platforms. The textures on PS4 and Xbox One are equal to the PC's highest, and water shaders carry over as-is, where the current-gen versions really show us the plain, pared-back alternative. It's a very solid effort in this sense, and can only get better as DICE's understanding of the hardware grows.
The PS4's strong performance lead is the real clincher though; a wide 10fps margin flaring up for most of our campaign mode tests. The comedown hits, however, once you realise that neither platform can pull off a straight 60fps during the larger Conquest multiplayer maps, where most of the fun is to be had. Regardless, a clear-as-day recommendation still goes to the PS4 version, and while there are glitches on both consoles that need to be addressed, the embracing of seamless, behind-the-scenes updates should at least ease some of Battlefield 4's growing pains.
You also insisted that there would be no difference.. so that seems like it should be surprising to you.
And fwiw PS3 input lag wasn't addressed for nearly a year in BF3.. seems like a top priority :)
