I still don't get that big deal with resolution these days. Who would [from a superficial point of view] go for the taller girl, when the smaller one has better tits and a prettier face [both the same intellect] ... only a minority would - should be the same with games.

Are we imagining there is logic buried in this flawed analogy? Who would pick the short ugly girl over the prettier girl who is also smarter (and cheaper)? :D

And the Playstation doesn't want to film all of your intimate moments like some kind of fucking creep. If we follow this analogy, you're just into Xbox One because you thought it's mom was hot.

becasue one platform is offering a taller girl, who's also prettier, and also smarter...so you're right, why would you chose any girl other then that one?

That's not an option, and it probably wouldn't be even if they tried... You can't just take games and assign arbitrary stats to performance. That's why you compare the same game on different platforms.

and infamous looked amazing, ran smooth (especially after the 30fps lock) and was 1080p. ryse was a slideshow and not even full HD. why would you drop res even further for 60fps? 900p is bad enough, surely?

i don't see how anyone, PC or console gamer, would be happy to get the same sort of visual standards in games after spending money on a new console (or graphics card on PC) we upgrade these things for a reason...and it certainly isn't the potential for more innovative products (how many people bought a new graphics card for crysis or BF?)...the idea of going from a 720p/30(or lower) gen of consoles, paying 500bucks and then getting something running games at a similar res and framerate seems absolutely ass backwards. it's not even so much that the xbone is a comparatively worse console compared to it's direct comptetition (after all, the PS2 was compared to the original xbox). it's the fact it's doing so little compared to the gen before it (an argument you couldnt raise towards the PS2 compared to PSone)

Slideshow, what game did you play? It was 30 all around, cannot recall it slowing down much, if at all. But the question is, did I enjoy it less because it wasn't 1080p? No. I had very much fun with it and it looked gorgeous.
