Also, this is the first time we see the main character, I thought he had black hair based on a avatar I saw, ah well.

We dont know if that person is the main character. Remenber that there are more people in that machines. And in the trailer we can see a person dead in the criogenic machine.

Well, that didnt intrigue me one bit in regards to the story. So from what they've shown the gunplay looks crap, the world looks static, the speed looks slow (completely negating the 60fps box they ticked) and now even the story seems like it's a throw-away premis.

I want to like this since its id, carmack, and stylistically it looks pretty swish, but even a propper, well cut, highly polished trailer doesnt spark my interest enough for me to really care. I think this is going to dissapoint a whole lot of people, but i know for a fact this game just isnt for me. I've waited on that one peice of footage to give me chills of excitement, and it hasnt happened. I think it's safe to assume that whatever it is people are seeing in regards to rage that's getting them all moist, is clearly going over my head.

Wow...Im not alone thinking it doesnt look as great as people say. Crappy gunplay is something that was bothering me since the first gameplay vid.

I actually thought it looked decent in some of the E3 stuff.. but it certainly isn't one of the stronger points of the last few videos. That's a shame too because it's the thing that could really set it apart from that other wasteland game.

Hmm i definitely will be getting this but yeah i myself wonder just how good it will be. The talk of reactive AI sparked my interest and it already does look very nice, so fingers crossed. looks like a lengthy game as well, one that will hopefully have you backtracking with new encounters in same places maybe

Looks damn good but i'd be lying if i said i was fully optimistic of it being a true return to form from id.Hope so though

Just like Crysis 2 marketing made the mistake of delaying PC footage and other things, so does RAGE not giving 60 fps footage until release.

never said faster is better. but if you're touting 60 FPS, then make it worthwhile. why even have 60FPS if your combat looks like it's being performed by a geriatric?

But then again, he likes Killzone yet he says this is slow lol

I personally can't stand weighty movement in shooters were I move like a big gorilla with a gun like Killzone (a midget at that lol) and Battlefield, feels like a chore to move (a reason why I will prefer CoD over them).
Fast, light, smooth and fluid movement such as majority of shooters out there and I will care, if they even go with the Killzone and Battlefield style I wont care no matter how good it looks.

And how could anyone judge the "speed" from anything in this trailer, anyway? The majority of the actual gameplay scenes feature someone standing in place and shooting. It's fuckin' fluid, dynamic, and fast! (lol)
