RAGE: Uprising trailer

It is ID. ID is making the game. They announced it at QuakeCon back in 2007. ZeniMax bought them out, and they now have the publishing rights to the game, but it is ID who are behind the game. Just because a bigger company swallowed them up, doesn't mean anything. All of the games that were slated for release prior to the buyout have not been affected by it.

From WikiPedia: "ZeniMax Media Inc., who had acquired developer id Software in June 2009,[21] announced that it had picked up the publishing rights to Rage, and that EA would not be involved in the sales or marketing of the title. The announcement also noted that the development of Rage had not been affected by the new deal. Creative director Tim Willits confirmed to videogames blog VG247[22] that the game would miss releasing in 2010, and will now launch in 2011.[23]"

That's all I'm saying. Hell, this game being impacted by the merger would probably be a good thing. Id needs actual game designers. I'm thrilled they picked up that dude from Retro.

imo this looks boring.
the only thing the trailer does for me is... brrrraaaahhhmmm - so I'll go and watch Inception again now :)

I think that this sound track is great, puts me in the mood for playing some Sci-fi like Half-Life 2's did.

Far and away the best looking game this generation, and at 60fps too. Carmack is truly a genius and the ID art team are outstanding.

Game looks fantastic too, basically Borderlands with infinitely better visuals.

We'll see. I wasn't swayed by the initial impressions of the first two hours I've been reading around the net. I do expect it to track highly on metacritic. It would have to. Quake 4's still in the 80's.

Car combat looks sufficiently different. They got a little twisted metal in their borderlands.

It looks good I think it will do better than Crysis2 but gfx wise Crysis2 is obviously superior. Crysis2 though has horrible animation this game is pretty good.
