Alright what is the MAXIMUM distance that you are able to throw a storm trooper!? :)

I throwed one in a "far, far away" as possible...as a time bomb :D

The scene with the star destroyer is probably a cutscene or QTE.

There's supposed to be a scoring mode that tabulates based on the multipliers, combos, etc. There's going to be mission select so you can go back to every level with your maxed out/tricked out SA (or whatever model you use to play with =P)..

They should have made this into a movie as well - you already got the entire cast - just need someone to play a young Princess Leia.

Well Haden said you get to take down a Star Destroyer in the game, so that can't be a cutscene.
It is probably a QTE then...I hope they implemented Sixaxis feature for Ps3, that would be great...but I doubt it.

If it is what I think it is, meaing you can play from start to finish with all your abilities and unlockables with you, that would be GREAT!

I am definitely gonna play as Starkiller obviously, but with cooler outfit, which is either that yellow/brown scarf over his face outfit or with a robe, and I am sure I am definitely playing with a robe equiped and a orange lightsaber.

You don't have the entire cast to be honest...no Luke, Obi-Wan, Yoda...etc. unless there is something I missed.
If they are in, that is as far I want to know about the story, refuse to know more for spoilers.

Nope, I'm still using a sixaxis. I should pick up a DS3. I don't even miss rumble that much to be honest, but having revised triggers would be nice. It shouldn't come as too big of a surprise that I liked it though, I'm a sucker for a good Star Wars game. I've even been known to enjoy a crappy one from time to time :P

Ah shame, I want to know if it has a rumble from someone who actually played it with a DS3.
It has the option "vibration" on PS3 menu, so I would guess it would have, but I also read that it didn't rumble for those who used it, which was only one...maybe its the demo version.

I definitely miss the rumble on Ps3, because I am used to NG2 rumble and all, I want that feedbak when destroying and using force powers in The Force Unleashed.

I thought some of the scenes with Hayden as Anakin was...lame, although I don't even like Anakin.
He is a arrogant fart who wants more what he receives.

I am sad that Qui-goon saw potential in him, because if he didn't, this whole Darth Vader, Empire, Order 66...etc. wouldn't happen.

And the Council kept rejecting this, but the whole Prophecy...etc. whatever, movie talk.

But anyways, I thought Episode 1 and 2 sucked, but Ep1 had Qui-gon and Obi-Wan vs Darth Maul, so that was great with amazing music.

And the whole Yoda fight in Ep2. That's it, the rest was boring.

Butr after 2, the rest was good to great (which is like A New Hope and the rest of the originals).

The prophecy was basically true all along. Only thing that made them believe it wasn't true was that Anakin's path was slightly altered, but he righted the ship in the end with help from his son.

tried out the demo, was underwhelmed at first, but when I threw my first Storm-Trooper through the stage I began to love it - pure gaming gold.

Although there are some things that bother me: no debris when you break things, bodies dissapear after you kill them, robots always break in the same way no matter how you slice them, it takes up to three hits with a light-saber to defeat enemies (c'mon, one should suffice) and the tearing is horrible at times. But I hope they'll fix it since the relasese isn't that soon.

Though I have always been more of a Trek than a Wars fan when it comes to Stars (SW has been something like medievals in space to me with all those knights and wizards) I will buy this game one day one ;)

I was a bit underwelmed i have to say :( but then, my expectations were so high for this one...

maybe because i didn't quite get the force grip, but i spent more time, trying like a retarded to throw it in the right direction then actually feeling super powerful...

Also, found the AI very weak! On the force grip tutorial, as i was trying to just lift one of the crates, i passed with it close to a stormtrooper, didnt even touched him, and he throws himself AGAINST it (like, running, but in the wrong direction), and dies!

Also, the overall presentation, contrary to some people were saying, is quite poor. The menus and loading screens...please...they look like from some game from the 90's...for me this is a big turn off. It's like buying a cool iphone and it comes wraped in yesterdays' newspaper. So many games doing it right these days. And it's not just bitching...these things help set the mood, and create an integrated experience feeling...

Also, this sequence where we are in the corridor and the tie fighters are shooting at us, well, after you continue further on and we are on this platform, if you look back from where we came from, the tie fighters continue to fly by and shoot at the same place where we were, in a scripted way...LAME!

Anyway, minor grips which let me down a bit, but i'll buy this anyway when it comes out, i'm a big fan, just slightly disappointed

I have read in a PS3 forum that a guy played the demo on PS3 with DS3 and it didn't have any rumble support while the 360 had.

I hope this isn't true.
I hope it's just the demo not supporting it, and if the actual game don't support DS3, thats just lazy from LucasArts.

I am more evil, I keep force griping the same enemy after I slam them to the ground, and in the end of my force bar is almost done I pick them up, impale them witht he lightsaber and then electricute them...if there was a AT-ST falling, I would put them beneath...yes I am evil.

It's quite funny when the rebels throw grenades, I just pick it up quickly and then throw it back haha.
There is one move I really like that Vader uses in SC4.
Force Grip in the air and then throws the lightsaber and hits them like 20 times rapidly and throws them away.

Just finished playing the demo...i have to say this one exeeded my already high expectations. Too bad the game realeses 1 day after Warhammer online...i'll be too busy trying to understand if WAR will take the vacant MMO place in my heart or if it's just another delusion.

Well on TFU official forum at LucasArts one guy says that the is a rumble on the DS3 but probably no Sixaxis feature, but it's all good. Just means I am gonna get it.

I think I managed to snap a stormtrooper's neck. Force grip then move both the left and right analog stick while manipulating him. You can twist his body up in some weird ways for the instant kill.

I said they have the entire cast available minus a young Leia, so no appearances from the above except for Obi-Wan, but it's more of a cameo than anything - unless the novel has a significant more content than the graphic novel.

XAL: What do you mean, "Got the whole cast"? Vader is voiced by Matt Sloan, and he sounds so weird. I don't really care for his rendition of JEJ's badassness at all. I'm not convinced I'll love the story either.. but then again.. what does that matter when Lucas is pumping out shit like Clone Wars.

Well I mean anyone can play Darth Vader, I'm sure James Earl Jones will still do the voice.

XAL, I think the destroy is an actual gameplay scene that eventually evolves into a QTE kinda like the boss fight at the end of the demo.

Was there ever an explanation as to why the Force Unleashed team was let go after the completion of the game? Looking at the trailer alone and the demo, how do you just get rid of a development team as talented as these guys look?

I don't think there was an official word on it, probably just downsizing that division because they haven't made a game in awhile that sold uber well.

Well you don't actually attack the Star Destroyer, you just pull it down from the sky for...some purpose...(which I won't say because it's kind of spoilers). Most def a cutscene or QTE if you look at the camera work.

But I hope the story is exciting, so far it is.

Poor camera mechanics. Combo/melee lacks any sense of urgency or need to string together attacks/combos to be effective. VERY bad AI. Some mechanics are a little rough. With no MP I am concerned how long this will be. I love SW E4-6 but this game looks like a poor mans Heavenly Sword from the demo.

Raxus Prime is looking great!
Seen it in 720p (from Gamespot live demo from E3) and its awesome!

Good to know that each level has a specific outfit, but I am sure you can choose any outfit in any level you want, as long as you unlocked it.

But anyway, I really want this game so much.

You can. In the demo if you press RB (or R2 i'm guessing on the PS2), you can go to 'player options'. This shows costumes, lightsaber, upgrades etc.
