I'm not buying into any of the spin I have read. I have not borrowed a game from a friend since I was 12; I do not care if Kinect has a camera and a microphone (and I suspect most people online complaining have a front facing camera on their laptop as well as on their smart phone in their pocket); I don't buy used games because I hate Gamestop with an undying passion. And I think the price is more than fair all things considered.

So if you are spending your time online lambasting a video game console that you don't plan on buying (but probably will on a long enough timeline), you should probably ask yourself why you are wasting you life doing something so pointless.

Eurogamer's hitpiece on Microsoft's DRM is a good summary of the consumer issues at hand. And it's not just gaming sites like Eurogamer picking up on it.

We've seen this issue circling the mainstream press for a week, and I don't think it's going away.

And I hope it doesn't. Microsoft deserves to fail.

Yep, if gamers dont fight against it MS thinks its okay and they will continue.
But then again, it will make it easier for other "sane" gamers to pick the right console which is PS4, just to show MS they are doing it wrong.

Yes they deserve to fail and all the hate from everybody they are getting, they practically destroyed all the good will they had with the 360, now that arrogance with bite them in the ass and hopefully the console tanks.

I don't wish them for completly abandon console gaming space since competition is always a good thing but they seriously need to start thiking their policies and strategy about this all stuff.

Good thing we are in the Internet Era where this kind of stuff doesn't go unnoticed :)

Most folks knew they would hit it out of the park at e3 as they had too, but they did not count on the Sony blows they got hit with :)
