Kinect hands on.
Was just going to post this. One feather in the Kinect 1's cap is Happy Action Theater. My daughter has spent hours and hours playing it with her friends.

But otherwise my Kinect gets used very little. I was hopeful for the Kinect 2, but MS needs to delay Kinect Sports Rivals and get it straightened out and not ship a half assed product, like the Steel Battallion BS.

I'm not a fan of Kinect, especially when using a controller is so much more intuitive and quicker, and not clunky. If Kinect 2 is 50% better than Kinect 1, then that is a failure in my opinion.

Things can turn around with patches, and such...

What gets me is when I've used bing on my Xbox it generally sucks as well. C'mon MS get it together.

Well this is REALLY bad news for anyone who recognizes how important this man has been to Bungie's creative edge-
I don't know given Bungie's love of Sony lately, maybe this belongs in the PS4 thread.

Yeah.. that's a bummer. At least he was there to help hash out Destiny. He will be missed!

Bungie is amazing. It still blows my mind that Microsoft was stupid enough to let them go.

MS didn't let them go. They asked MS to let them go. And by ask I mean they threatened.

And as good as Bungie is, this is the reality: the Halo IP is more valuable than the studio. A lot of great studios make average, even poor, selling games. Brands like CoD, Madden, GTA, and Halo are exceedingly valuable because even if the game is only "good" it is amazingly profitable.

Oh.. yeah.. I know. Even 343 can sell a Halo game ;)

But you're right. Better to let them go peacefully than let it devolve into some kind of Infinity Ward/Activision drama.

Are they really trying to downplay the usefulness of having more CU's? That seems like a dangerously stupid position to take.

They need to let some software talk and stop with the damage control.

Seem their echoing the same as what was said about PS4 version. Runs well, doesn't look as good a PC. I just want to play the damn thing.

Another person I know is supposed to have a Ryse stream coming up soon but nothing yet. As soon as I get links and details I'll post them. There are some early hints that Ryse won't be a one-shot system launcher. MS and Crytek seem to be invested in this one for the long haul.

Right now I am not. DICE's partnership with AMD sorta pisses me off a little. I'm considering selling my GTX760's already. They're like a month old. :|

Fact: despite having far less raw power, the 290X is probably going to trounce my 760's in Battlefield 4. Thanks DICE!
