Gamersyde est un site de média-information consacré à l'actualité du jeu-vidéo consoles et PC, et spécialisé dans la production et diffusion de vidéos de haute qualité à très haut bitrate dans leur résolution et framerate d'origine. À l'heure où la compression vidéo exagérée devient de plus en plus la norme sur Internet, Gamersyde est le dernier petit village gaulois à encore résister à l'envahisseur Youtube. Toutes les vidéos sont disponibles en téléchargement et en streaming, jusqu'en 4K et 60 images par seconde dans les deux cas, et dans une qualité largement supérieure à celle de Youtube pour le streaming. Nous sommes également en mesure d'enregistrer des extraits de jeu en HDR pour les joueurs équipés d'écrans compatibles. L'intégralité de notre contenu est gratuit, et accessible en français ainsi qu'en anglais.

Inscrit depuis 7578 JoursIt's poor speculation to assume a connection to the Xbox One. They partnered with EA to create this API and not Microsoft. I think Microsoft would be happy to keep everything Windows-side on DirectX. And they would likely control the software regardless. Microsoft was not mentioned one time in AMD's press conference, or in any of the corresponding media (so far as I've seen). And they've been pretty talky about wanting it on multiple operating systems. That sounds just like Microsoft! So what is Anand saying, if Microsoft aren't in cahoots with AMD? They lifted an exact copy of the API form the Xbox One? And Microsoft retains no control at all? That sounds pretty impossible. Is that possible?
I like Anandtech a lot, but this seems like fantasy. Which makes a lot of sense. A lot of the reaction to Mantle is fantasy. Like the legitimate Tech blogs who thought that they were inviting Nvidia to join the party. Fat chance.
They can brush off comparisons to GLIDE but that's exactly what it is. We've been down this road before. It ends in an abstract API called DirectX.
If it's true it's pretty amazing of Microsoft to allow it to happen. Period. Unless they're in on it. And then.. why not just come out and say it? Either way, it's a big win for AMD. No matter how you look at it. Again: the R9 is not an impressive piece of hardware. They may have just won over the entire market with a piece of proprietary software.
Which until recently they claimed to hate.
Inscrit depuis 7552 JoursNow on PC is a different thing, and the impact it could get wont benefit Microsoft on the PC department if this get plenty of support and it is also on Linux. This mantle thing could even create an API war between major parties, and that always come with heavy fragmentation.
SteamOS and now Mantle should have Microsoft scratching their head right now.

Inscrit depuis 7578 JoursI might jump ship if there's a significant performance increase in BF4, but I can't imagine purposefully downgrading my GPU's. That sounds like self-sabotage in the long run. AMD is not beating Nvidia at DirectX anytime soon. And I mean for years if we're to believe their pipelines.

And I really loved that controller, the new feedback feels very impressive. The only thing that's strange at the moment is the weight. It's much less weight and I had to get used to it a bit.
