I'm just more or less trying to decide which of the two will be my primary console, and which will be the secondary, both will no doubt have the kinds of games I want to play regardless. And in those instances where there's a game I want really bad, but it's only available on one, which will happen on both sides, then having both will come in handy.

I'll say this, though. I think the Xbox 360 controller is the best console controller I've ever used. I literally forget it's in my hands as I play most games. Just very natural feeling.

I'm sure both systems will have games i want to play also, but out of the box i know the 720 will have games i'm already a fan off so getting it first is probably what i'm going to do?

I am not excited for xbox and no gamer should be really. Irresptive of specs difference which is also not in favor of xbox. PS4 meeting on 20th has just sealed the deal for gamers. Why should anyone get xbox anymore. Kinect 2, windows, apps are the only thing I can think of. I really hope since it will be a new console at least for a year or 2 they concentrate on gaming.

Gamers like games. The new Xbox will have a lot of great games that gamers like, just like the PS4 will. Making it a better all around entertainment device and wanting to do something nice with Kinect won't make that primary goal impossible. I don't really get what you're saying. If people like and enjoy Forza, they should just say to hell with the franchise, because PS4 has racing games, too? There are people that won't want to do that. If people love Halo, they are suppose to just abandon the franchise because the PS4 lets you shoot at stuff in the first person, too? If you enjoy sports games like NBA 2K, you shouldn't even consider playing it on the new Xbox, because PS4 will have it to?

Should gamers generally just reject everything that the Xbox will have and stick solely with a PS4 just because? You really believe you speak for all gamers. Wow.

Honestly, you're not fooling anyone. I don't think there's a thing in the world that would have changed your mind. Just like there are some people who seem inexplicably attached to Xbox, as you are to Playstation.

Gotcha. I didn't know Gears was still a big deal :D

Turn 10 rules though. It still seems like a pretty sparse list to me. But that's probably because I'm really looking for the one console this time around. I realize now that two are sorta redundant and wasteful. Especially when you barely play any games on them to begin with. If nvidia's Maxwell was coming out this year, I'd probably just buy that instead.. but I'm too attracted to new toys to ignore a console generation when there's nothing else to buy :)

Really? I can think of a bunch of exclusive PS3 content this year, last year, etc. Not so much for Xbox.

The irony is that even the biggest Xbox fans probably spend 99% of their time playing multiplatform games.

I mean, stuff like PGR could be cool.. but again.. without Bizarre Creations, why am I supposed to be excited? It's just a brand as it stands. Like so much that they have in their corner, it just seems so unknown.

Well it is when it comes to games i would want to play and pay money for, there's nothing really apart from MGS which i bought and FFVerses which i was going to buy. I am watching the last of us very closely to see if the gameplay will be interesting enough to warrant a buy.

As i stated above games i enjoy playing and would buy are more sparse on the PS3 list than my 360 one, fact!

The developer is in the market for a an experienced, passionate and highly technical engineer to help us deliver the services that will power our next amazing product." This illustrious individual will be responsible for the creation of "large scale distributed systems with a focus on scalability, reliability and maintainability" and will "[drive] continuous improvement through rapid iteration and short ship cycles". Experience with cloud based services is "desirable".

There's also a region design manager to assist with "the next jaw-dropping, never-been-done-before Rare project". Advantageous criteria include "experience of motion gaming, especially Kinect technology".
