Red Dead Redemption 2 will hit PC on November 5 via Rockstar Game Launcher and earlier today, the publisher and developer shared details about pre-purchase and the specifications. You can get the first PC screens after the jump.
Melmoth for games not exporting data, you can still use audio as input on the jetseat, but i haven't tried that yet and don't know how well it works. (2 Days ago)
Melmoth while the jetseat uses telemetry from the games that support exporting it, and has 6-8 zones of vibration/feedback. so you get much more nuansed and adjustable feedback (2 Days ago)
Melmoth @toelessfoot: I don't have any experience with the buttkicker, but from what i understand it's just using game-audio as input, and is 1 large shaker/motor, so it won't be direction-specific feedback (2 Days ago)
nostradamus other than peer FOMO, and fuck that to begin with. (btw, when Elden 'GOAT!!1' Ring releases, but the damn console!) (3 Days ago)
nostradamus @MikeManiac61: just mind your buisness working on that backlog and never cabing in than givvin 250$ to a PR Harware Maker (more or less with pack-ins). When you Jump In makes no difference whatsoever (3 Days ago)
docLEXfisti A complete un- and reinstall didn't help. Applied for a refund now... what a shame (3 Days ago)
MikeManiac61 @MrWhite: Tell me about it! That's why i'm in no rush for buy the PS5 or next gen system. Its bad enough some of the games come out buggy as hell that takes a year to patch. (4 Days ago)

Also, straightforward to see where things can be improved further next gen. Increases in geometry is one.

apart from the uncapped frame rate and resolution. still, it'll still be amazing to see the PC version go even further in those areas. 60fps is always a nice treat.

I love how everyone talks about 60fps on PC. 60fps in 1080p maybe.
it's the perfect balance, not too fast but just right for that cinematic feel. never going back.
wait for the live gameplay and then compare, if they have a big list of improvements, then expect it to look quite better in a marginal difference, just not in the typical remaster/pc port of an old game.
only one way to know for sure.
