Adrift and Haven all day long though. Haven is pretty basic, but it's fundamentally sound. Longblow and uh.. Complex are both pretty okay. Solice has a pretty nice CTF layout.
Nothin is saying "classic" so far. Then again, as well as Valhala works in this game, it's not the Halo 3 map that I remember most fondly either.

For a fps, the cut-scenes and cg stuff is next to nothing, but the mission design is a step back from Halo 3 or Reach.
Guys who are in the story, like Optimus had probably the best time in their lives playing the sp.
But guys like me who are more in mp and gameplay-mechanics are the ones left nagging around in forums...
Spartan ops is a nice addition, but finding out that the upcoming episodes will recycle maps from the current ones was another punch in my face...

My merciful nature allowed you to return for the Halo circle jerk, in hopes on your return everyone would turn to greet you and you'd get hit in the crossfire.
And, no, it makes no sense at all to read the last chapter of a book, because that is filled with pit falls. Pretty much knowing exactly what to expect from previous Halo games, I kinda suspected the Legendary ending would be a safe watch. The only way someone would be surprised by the legendary ending is if they somehow expected the Chief not to be in it, because they maybe (not sure why) thought the Chief would somehow die in Halo 4 or something :P

It's almost as funny as the DMR without bloom (or any dmg drop-off). Infinite range ftw!
I used the rocket launcher and found out, that explosions that are 300 feet away from you are almost exactly as loud as if it was 3 feets away.
Furthermore, the sound itself (frequency) is exactly the same.
In previous Halos, distant gunshots and explosions were layered with echos and they were muffeled, making them sound very realistic.
Even Halo 1 respected sound velocity, letting you hear explosions far away just a tad later than you saw them.
All of that stuff, that gives mou MUCH input about the battlefield is cut. Thats why I often feel kind of disorientated in Halo 4.
The sound engineers of 343 are some serious noobs!
I guess this poor sound is why they implemented those stupid grenade indicators.
In Reach I always knew were a grenade blew up. I could tell it by the sound.
In Halo 4 I can even tell with the aid of those retarded COD-incators...
