Gamersyde est un site de média-information consacré à l'actualité du jeu-vidéo consoles et PC, et spécialisé dans la production et diffusion de vidéos de haute qualité à très haut bitrate dans leur résolution et framerate d'origine. À l'heure où la compression vidéo exagérée devient de plus en plus la norme sur Internet, Gamersyde est le dernier petit village gaulois à encore résister à l'envahisseur Youtube. Toutes les vidéos sont disponibles en téléchargement et en streaming, jusqu'en 4K et 60 images par seconde dans les deux cas, et dans une qualité largement supérieure à celle de Youtube pour le streaming. And don't bring "Ass" Creed in here because they are not even in the same genre to be compared to NG2 :S
That, and yes the game design is not balanced.
You can't "counter" the attack of the multi missle rockets...Ryu can't even dodge and spin as he can in the CGI (look at DOA4 Ryu ending).
The only thing he can do is dodge and yet he is still vulnerable, like the roll.
I feel happy, playing such type of games
I let my cousin who never played NG before play NG2 on Acolyte on the same chapter were you meet Zedonius, the beginning of that chapter...he could barely play more than 10 minutes.
And yes he "practiced" around 45 minutes on acolyte in the begining of the game to learn the moves...etc.
It takes time, but I asked him what he thinks about the balance of those enemies compared to the moves Ryu got, and he said its unfair and unbalanced, and there should be some sort of a counter move to avoid these missiles.
I showed him the DOA4 ending when Ryu jumps in the air and does that cool acrobatic spin move to avoid rocketlaunchers and gullets, and he said why Ryu couldn't do that in the game against those soldiers.

The frustrating/cheap stuff in this game is just too damn obvious. This is a pity because at several points, the game achieves brilliance but falls flat on its own ass at its cheap moments. I'm talking about the rocket-launching jerks and those rocket-firing robots that come at the same time and you're fighting on water!!!! SERIOUSLY!!!! It's just STUPID.

The red ninja that fire the exploding shuriken were a pain too but I figured it out: when you get stuck with one of those, BLOCK and let it explode, you wont take damage! that helped a lot :D
Also, Volf was a Joke and so are most boss battles which is a shame. im on chapter 8 right now. How many chapters are left ?

Inscrit depuis 7623 JoursAgain, the only boss I had to replay was the floating caterpillar in the subway, I replayed that like 5 times. Oh and I almost forget, the green cave boss I had to replay like 3 times. But then what the hell is a boss good for right?
And yeah, there are some cheap moments, and a couple (up to chapter 13) of cheap bosses, but nothing that can't be managed. Sure it is annoying to be hit by the exploding shurikens, but then again I had an overflow of health packs all the time. Then your health regenerates, and you are ok. And by the way, with the exception of THREE weapons, I have all my other weapons FULLY upgraded. Again, what is this complaining about?
If you hate the game being cheap, just play Acolyte, if you still think the game is too hard, you have to play something else, but DO NOT blame the game because Acolyte is perfectly manageable, and in my opinion even fairly easy.

You also can't always dodge the rockets. And my main point when I brought up the rockets was that the camera is so awful that you don't always see them coming. Seriously, don't act like the game isn't cheap just because you think you're good at it.

I'm really enjoying the game, but it does have some pretty glaring flaws. Just because you don't have a problem with the game's shortcomings doesn't mean that they aren't there.
