Straws are still being clutched at i see. It's getting a LITTLE bit sad now tbh.

Anyway, "xbox on" voice commands only support 5 languages at launch apparently. Which even taking into account shared languages across different countries, it's still shy of the 13 countries the console is launching in day one. Proves one thing though, it isn't kinect localisation that dropped their day one launch from 21 to 13.

I can't tell if you're trolling with these posts or if you honestly believe them.

The last time I checked, this was the XO thread. So if funny rumours about XO appear, then this is the thread to post. This is not trolling of any kind.

All that guys who don't like XO and keep coming back to this thread over and over again just to say things like "delusional" etc. are the real trolls. Because if you don't like XO, then why visit the thread again and again? Just to offload stupid jokes? This is not very constructive.

NOBODY is forcing you guys to buy XO. So don't harass people who do. I have an ace PC, will buy a PS4 AND an XO. What's so bad about it? Everyone has his own taste.

Or do you run into Hilfiger stores when you actually don't like Hilfiger and tell them that their goods are sh*t and harass everyone who's buying it? It would be a total waste of energy, so I guess not. But then ... why do it here? And shouldn't the mods do something about that kind of behaviour?

Who doesn't "like" XO? I have a vested interest in microsoft doing well, I'm certainly not here to hate on it. I was just commenting on the fact that the rumors you are posting are some of the dumbest things I've ever read. I wasn't aware you were posting them in jest, as you didn't provide much context, seemed like you actually believed what you were reading which is hysterical in its own right.

I have to admit I really like reading those rumours - they are fun. Whether true or not, will materialize when the consoles are launched - but speculation-time only happens at the beginning of a new cycle, it's part of the game :D

And it goes on, again the insider from MisterX:

The biggest struggle sony face are there belief the gpu can do it all. .. It has to do a lot of extreme heavy lifting to reach there aspirations. 70% of pseye processing has to be done on the gpu comput units and takes up 2 whole cores of processing. Yes onion and garlic + buss are extremely fast. But they also do have stalls.. the fact that the cpu is crippled to 10gbs. And fanboys have this vision that you just double the buss. Which in theory is true. But it comes with extreme optimization problems. The fact is the cpu just cant keep up with the gpu and comput load. This is where x1 hardware really shines. Esram on chip has allowed ms to get a 68gbs from the ddr3 but when cpu uses hsa memory coherently esram/ddr it has a constant 30gbs buss with 6 ops per core. The x1 design is a hsa+ design in theory. In nature of hsa it has been modified alot. Also the main soc gpu does not have to do physic's based calculations as there specialized
process for this. There is also two geometry engines. And there is also an extra gfx core and comput units. which has its own 10mb of esram it can access independently or shared. The sound and video do not have constraints on the gpu And kinect has all its own processing externally. . As for w2w mistercteam may be right. There has been alot of changes in x1 design and it is looking more and more like 2.5D. But I can honestly say I am not sure if co process are on a different silicon to the main soc at this time. Or are combined As we dont have access to final retail sdk. Even gamescom was not final ether. There is no manufacture problems as they really do have fail safes in place for bad binning. The wired hd shots showed where the co processors should have been on the motherboard but they were not in those shots. More will be said at tgs.. From the story coming directly from upper suits. It seems Ms may take a swing at Sony on there own turf. :)

the truth of specs is coming but it is not coming when you think. my contact and myself had a nice chat since e3 and let me tell you , his group and several other developers, not publishers are pissed!
First of all, ubi and ms are not on very good terms right now because ms kept them in the dark and sent them development kits very late.
My contact told me , this was a result of ubi employees breaking nda in the past and Microsoft was not going to have it again. The reason watchdogs hasnt been shown on x1 yet is because ubi is on better terms with sony but in the end the x1 will clearly have the better looking game but will be gimped in the features department and to make matters worse, ubi will gloss right over the fact the x1 is 1080p 60 fps . my contact has spoken to his friend at ubi and that is where this info comes from. He is not sure about everyone else but his studio was made to sign a new nda specifically regarding hardware until the end of september. It is in my opinion this was a result of a sony contingency plan that called for them bumping certain hardware in the ps4 if they had to at the cost of profitability. speaking of profit.... most studios are amazed at the x1 price because the tech inside is much more valuable. He told me this specifically.
Now the bombshell, the studio that will clearly exploit the hardware difference between the x1 and ps4 will be none other then rockstar studios. My contact has a contact at rockstar who told him they have not been happy with sony since gta4 . Sony gives rockstar minimum support since they've taken credit for gta's success. Microsoft on the other hand has worked very hard to support rockstar even going as far as funding specific functions during the development of gta4 and gta5 . He went on to say that this new generation will be alot different and everyone will see why when Red Dead Rebellion is annouced as a exclusive for x1 and rockstar announces its only possible on x1.
Lastly , I asked him about the specs in the x1 and he clammed up and said he cannot tell me about the soc in regards to the cores . he actually got nervous... He did give me a hint about the gpu tho. He said the gpu is exactly "on paper" what they say it is . He then said the truth is in plain site. He actually laughed and said "those sneaky sons a bitches" .

You do not have to justify yourself by having all console or gaming PC. If you prefer XO for whatever reason so be it. As far as those ridiculous rumors goes. It is funny what can be said on internet. I really hope people are just entertaining themselves with these ludicrous rumors.

See, that's the problem. I do not like MS more than I like Sony or the specific consoles. I just hate it when people have to justify their choice by downplaying the other system, this is absolutely childish and not worthy of this great site. Seems to make them feel better, because they can/want only afford one system and thus have to hate the other.

Probably because they feel the need to compete in the European territories Sony has held for years. The US is the majority buyer world wide and profits are going to be hinged on it.

At announcement if you didn't live in a 2013 launch country you got TWO different games, and if you didn't pre-order before August 20th you got nothing. I guess they quietly changed that.

TitanFall is one of my most anticipated games but seeing stuff like this... is annoying. You need to play more online games if you think there's no "fun and unpredictability" in online gaming.

It didn't need to be "brought back."

This isn't really a specific complaint about you or anything but I fully expect people to hype this and then drop it like a brick the week after it comes out. Like every other online game.

The Killer Instinct hype feels the same way to me.

I will probably get Titanfall on PC considering i am getting the hang of the m/k a bit now with Planetside 2. And since its engine isnt so demanding i think its safe for me to be able to get solid 40-60fps out of it.

Definitelly looks fun though, loving the gunplay, but i am not a fan of the Titan mech themselves, never been into them in sci fi FPS MPs same goes to cloaks and extra armor.
But it seems enemies dies quick here and there are no cloaks so i am happy with it lol.
