I am looking forward to the new announcements at gamescom. And I hope to see Halo 5 on the X. Haven't played for a few months but I still got 68 Scorpions, 39 Ghost Ultras, 34 Banshee Ultras and 35 Wraith Ultras to burn ;)

2.) Battflefield 1 with 56.1ms

ambitious by early 360 standards maybe. i can't believe the game i bought an xbone for is turning out to be such a shambles. they better be able to turn it around in these extra months. because what they've shown so far is not going to cut it.

you bought an xbox for crackdown 3? Yeesh.
it's honestly the only franchise MS own that they still make that i actually like(d) :/ they've killed off all the others and now focus on 3 i never was a huge fan of.

tbh the best exclusive they have this gen is sunset overdrive, and even that had some annoying quirks. it could do with a sequel though because the foundation was solid. it just had a lot of shit in it letting it down.

To sum up. There were some re-used E3 trailers (lame), some new hardware (Scorpio Edition, Minecraft Xbox One S) and PUBG is published by Microsoft on console and is also called "console-exclusive".

Xbox One X is already sold out completely in both editions on Amazon in Germany, that was quick.

Paradox' game was nice, but it was a pretty tame "conference". Those two girls were really, really bad and Assassins Creed CGI? Come on... but that Cuphead girl was... nice

The "world-premiere" trailer from unboxing of a console was a first... hahahaha

thankfully the lack of solid confirmation and general wishy washy responses surrounding the game reeks of the rise of the tomb raider debacle, so i think it's safe to say we'll be playing it once it's out of early access on the PS4. lol


i honestly can't believe they didn't announce any new games though. especially after crackdown has slipped to next year. maybe E3 next year? although i feel like we've been saying that for the last 3 years.

I'm honestly concerned there could be some major reshuffling at the top of the Xbox division soon at this rate. It's painfully clear that Spencer has put the Xbox division between a rock and a hard place with his questionable decisions on their game releases. I see no discernible plan here to recover from this software drought.

Exactly. Especially not in the short term (by short, i mean 2-3 years) they cant build new studios to make new games because that takes time. And we know what all their current studios are working on because they dont allow any of them ANY creative freedom. We know a gears will come from coalition. Another forza horizon from playground, and other halo from 343 becasue all MS have studio wise are IP factories. Realistically we won't be seeing any major new first party output from MS until we're all playing PS5's and xbone 2's :/

MS would have done better to just write off this gen as a loss (it will be regardless) and put all the development and manufacturing costs of the xbone x into first party growth. Which they could then unleash at the launch of their REAL next gen system in 3 years time. Instead we're just going to get iterative software for their iterative hardware for the next 3 years. Exciting times!
