Loakum Ugh….scratch that previous comment. The upcoming Game of Thrones video game is a F’in mobile phone game. Why can’t they came an open world GoT game, like Witcher 3 or God of War? (> 3 Months ago)
Loakum By FAR, the upcoming Game of Thrones King’s Road was the Game of the Show! It plays like God of War Ragnarok! :) (> 3 Months ago)

On the other hand, if it's not 1440p or better, it's basically garbage.

Mods, stop changing my SIG! I'm going to end up banning you!
The game does look a little better though.
Nothing on Xbox One will surpass the technical prowess of Ryse for years.
I have played CoD Ghosts on my PC [runs extremely well], but it's like day and night compared to Battlefield 4 in terms of visuals.
It will take some time before the devs use the special kinks like Tiled Resources, which only the One is capable of hardware-wise [and PC of course with DX11.2]. So the One will catch on and maybe, even surpass PS4 in terms of visuals. But would that stop you from buying your beloved Sony Santa Monica, Guerilla, Naughty Dog, Quantic Dreams etc. franchises? No, it shouldn't. Because it's about the games, not the hardware.
I really enjoy Super Mario [and most Nintendo] games. They are arguably not the best looking games, but extreeeeeemely entertaining. And they are no graphical showcases.
And of course, PC versions will always look better. It is evident and in no need of any further discussion. But PC also has it's fair share of BIG problems. First of all, almost all games are "broken" until the first couple 3-42 patches resolve all the issues. A big disadvantage compared to consoles. And, what's even more bad: you only ged a tenth or so of the good stuff. And more - for some of the heavy hitters, PC users have to wait for ages [best example GTA]. So please drop that elitist PC shit.
PS: btw, some problems on PC are never solved. When I played BF3 with controller there were still keyboard button prompts in some cases, same with BF4. Or the really bad release of Deadly Premonition with problems all over the place [no controller support, only 720p, etc.]

I'm looking for best in genre type must haves. I don't see any.
I will get a console for: Japanese developer support that's still struggling on the PC (and Xbox.. to a lesser extent). And possibly for Bungie. If they don't release Destiny on PC. The WiiU is honestly more appealing to me than either next gen console, but I will probably end up with a PS4 just to follow the FGC scene. But there's little rush there until there are some real next gen fighters. And no Killer Instinct isn't it.

PS: the thing I enjoy most about Ghosts is actually the music. Really, really good. The rest is not that impressive ...

Such a big jump!

Halo4 Comm Lasky-
Polygon: ”Much has been said about the fact that the PlayStation 4 version of the game runs at a native 1080p, and while that may be true, the game did struggle to maintain a steady frame rate, especially in hectic multiplayer matches. The PS3 version of the game ran into similar problems, whereas the Xbox 360 version maintained a steady 60 frames per second.”
IGN: “On the current-gen versions Ghosts looks nearly identical, though I did encounter occasional framerate issues during the single-player campaign on PS3 and PS4.”
Joystiq: ”A key pillar of the Call of Duty experience has always been rock-solid 60 frames per seconds gameplay. On Xbox 360, Ghosts maintains this mandate. The PlayStation 4 version, however, has noticeable technical issues, sometimes slowing to a crawl, particularly during set-piece moments with multiple effects. One specific moment I was able to replicate multiple times on PS4 was a campaign scene that ran smoothly on Xbox 360 and PS3, while the game chugged On PlayStation 4. These frame rate hitches happen throughout the campaign on PS4 and, in a series known for its Hollywood-inspired bombast, it detracted from the experience.”
They say that there was no lag noticeable on Xbox 360, but Xbox One reviews are embargoed until Nov. 12. So far, I haven’t noticed any slowdown on the Xbox 360 version, but that isn’t particularly relevant.
what are we talking here? a 60fps to 50fps drop? or sub 30?
speaking of call of duty...

Is Killzone Shadow Fall delayed and i didnt know about it? lol
And COD Ghosts music is average at best, maybe a few tracks stands out but no COD music beats MW2.
