Sony games being DRM free (thus getting my day one money) and everything else being a £5 purchase doesn't exactly sound like dancing to sony's DRM music, does it? Welcome to the world of year old £5 purchases. I want the publishers who are enforcing this shit to suffer.

If enough people do the same these shitty pubs are literally getting £5 (used game prices on ebay)where they would usually get £40 ( or more if next gen inflation happens...which it will). It's sending a pretty crystal clear message. And if more dev studios and published go under because of it, so be it. They clearly don't give a shit about the high street, why should we give a shit about them?

If one had to pick between Ps4 and xbox, Ps4 would still be the better choice IMO. No online needed, no exra attachment connected for the console to work, alot of exclusive games and PS4 being very gaming focused than TV/Sports xbox.

Not saying its okay either way, but if you dont want Pc gaming and you wanted a console, I would stick with Ps4 just based on those facts.

I thought those were confirmed with no online needed, no PSeye connected is a must..etc. I thought I read it here. And I think PS4 has more variety and bigger variety in exclusive than what Xbox has, from what has been showned so far.

I for one I'm really pissed with Microsoft because I enjoy some of their exclusive, but this 24 hours online check plus all this mess with used games and lending games to friends is big no for me.

People here don't have any idea how many people have a 360 not plug to the internet and this 24 hours check will hurt them bad.

You have to wonder how many of them are paid shills though, Gaf, 4chan, reddit, ign, gamefaqs, gametrailers are all being targetted by these anonymous jackasses who do nothing but undermine actual discussion and try to deflate the situation with name calling and nonsense reworded PR tripe.

Only so many of them you can weed out, and even then it's easy to create a new account. With the $Billion MS are spending on games, how much of that is marketing and how much of that is to pay nobodies to derail online discussion and misdirect the mainstream media.

Uh, when did I attack anybody? Look in a more sane world gamers would be allowed to like whatever platform (no matter how fucked up it is) they wanted to game on WITHOUT being criticized for doing so. I've never understood the personal investment that gamers make in trashing another person's platform of choice. So no, I don't attack people for gaming the way they want or on what they want. So have fun! It's what gamers used to do before we started counting Tflops and making financial projections on corporations that have professionals already doing those jobs for them.

I read through the platform's policies and I don't see any world ending edicts that would truly stop gamers from enjoying and playing games the way they have been all of these years.

This entire exercise has become utterly ridiculous. Look around the gaming world. Let's not fool ourselves, this isn't even about Microsoft or Sony anymore. This is about people trying to stick it to each other over their choices for gaming in the next gen. Everyone is merely hiding behind their own brand of phoney intellectualism while they troll each other as hard as they can. It's about piss poor journalism and the lack of professionalism from the individuals who are responsible for giving us information. They don't feel we're intelligent enough to make up our own minds so they present every article as opinion piece. They rile up the crowd until they're one big angry mob. And for what?? A once a day check that might be a useful feature for patch notes, updates and product alerts. And a gaming policy that's most likely to enforced by the very publishers and studios whose products everyone is going to be drooling over on Monday.

So I'm not allowed to have a peaceful E3 if I decide on one platform or another? You think that's about about consumer rights? We've been able to have debates like that before without red lines and ultimatums being drawn. This is about egos and bullshit that none of us can control anyway because there's a larger community that is completely oblivious to all this outrage.
