Inscrit depuis 7448 JoursBut I am just saying, for those who DONT want Kinect but want Xbox MS should do something about it and remove the extra 100 + Kinect.

Yeah i am grateful MS did lose all those nasty features thats a no brainer for sure, but "we won the battle, but not the war" they say, and the war is still on until they remove the mandatory Kinect thing and out of the bundle and reduce the price since thats the only thing standing in the way.
Also, Sony is getting my money because they didnt piss us off in the first place with Ps4 with their anti-consumer or anything else forced on us with anything other than a simple paywall for online multiplayer so there is no issue with them. And yes Sony does care or else they could have caved in on this MS fiasco.
But if fact hurts, I wont say anything else, but others will speak up since I am not the only one who have the same thought.

Inscrit depuis 7325 JoursHere was the simple vision of the Xbox One, selling and reselling games:
Every game you bought, physical or digital, would be tied to your account. This would eliminate current-gen problems like buying a disc, and then being unable to store it or download it from the cloud.
Because every single game, physical or digital, would be tied to an account, publishers could create a hub to sell and resell the games digitally. Let's refer to these as "licenses" from here, even though it's a loaded term.
Because reselling games would now work through a hub, publishers could make money on resold games.
Here is how this makes sense for YOU: New games could then be cheaper. Why? Publishers KNOW that they will not make money on resold games, so they charge more to you, the first buyer. You are paying for others' rights to use your game in the future. If the old system had gone into place, you would likely have seen game prices drop. Or, at the very least, it could have staved off price increases.
You also would have started getting a better return on your "used" games—because a license does not have to be resold at a diminished rate.
How do you know that this would have been the case? Because that's exactly what happens on Steam. But wait!, you shout. Steam is CHEAP cheap, and it has crazy sales. We love Steam! Micro$oft is nothing like that. Well, no, it isn't now, but Steam was once $team, too. It was not always popular, and its licensing model was once heavily maligned. Given time, though, it's now the only way almost every PC gamer wants to play games.
Sharing games would have worked either by activating your Live account on someone else's Xbox One, or by including them in your 10-person share plan, which would not have been limited to "family.". Details on that had been scarse, but even the strictest limitations (one other person playing any of the shared games from your account) would have been a HUGE improvement over the none that we have now. We don't get that now.
The 24-hour check-in would have been necessary for the X1's store, which it is not for Steam, because the physical product (game discs) would still be available. This check-in, literally bytes of data exchanged, would confirm that the games installed were not gaming the system in a convoluted install-here-and-then-go-offline-and-I'll-go-home-and-check-in-and-go-offline-too-and-we'll-both-use-the-game methods.

I am a Kinect hater, have always been BUT it has never been a deal breaker for me and games like project Spark were quite impressive (and I said that even before MS U-turned on their DRM policies). As it stands (and I have said this before as well), I am still NOT buying an Xbox One or a PS4 at launch in both cases because of games but 12 months down the line, both consoles are on the table now and whoever has the games that appeal to me will have my money.
Right now, I want Quantum Break, Sunset Overdrive, Thief, The Witcher 3, Mirror's Edge, Final Fantasy 15, Metal Gear Solid 5 and Kingdom Hearts 3 so Xbox One wins at the moment in my book.

Yes, they did listen and most of it was how bad the pre-orders was on Xbox so they were forced to change it after all the PR bullshit they kept trying to brainwash us with. But most people dont forgive that easily something like this since you dont know what they will do to Xbox down the road through patches. Not saying they will, but dont be surprised if they will.
Also, if its not a deal breaker for you, alright fair enough, but that doesnt mean giving gamers an option is a bad thing since it never is.
Many people want options if they want to use it or not. The fact Kinect is mandatory to Xbox or it wont work is extremely stupid. It will collect dust, take up space on your shelf or whatever, and most people hate the Kinect games since MS hasent done anything to prove them otherwise.
So give us option and make the price like 399 like Ps4 and its a win win to everyone plain simple.
Inscrit depuis 7511 JoursWhat bothers me as well is the size of the console and Kinect...they are simply HUGE! I might wait for a slim version before I jump in as well assuming I am going to get it that is.
Inscrit depuis 6985 Jourshopefully by the time i'm willing to jump into (or should that be onto?) the Xbone. there will be a smaller, non-kinect version avaliable.
