It is, but it looks fine. That Ryse gif looks like Roman soldiers battling it out in Crysis.

With really shite animations. They need to sort out the animation blending. It ruins what is an otherwise nice looking game.

All looking pretty damn good, imo. Ryse's graphics are pretty awesome. Gameplay looking better also. Some distracting clipping in places, though. Anyway, launch can't come soon enough, especially for Dead Rising 3.

It's not sold out, only the day one edition is. You can still order the two others [CoD edition, plain Edition]. But I guess a lot of people will switch over after launch, when they see the difference in games.

This is my opinion, as I have seen most games live and don't see the 40 % power advantage of PS4 at all. The multiplats will be interesting to see, to spot the real differences. But I couldn't afford both of them at launch anyway, because Castle Grayskull is also coming in November and I have to buy my kids a Wii U for X-Mas as well. PS4 will have to wait until Q1 2014, when more interesting games will arrive in my case.

The main problem I have is that *suddenly* perfection IS the standard expectation, and I also don't feel like you are applying the same standard everywhere. I think they are fair questions, but the level of execution you expect (perfection) just because the console is expensive, or because it's "next gen", is ridiculous. I'd love it for you to keep that mentality across the board. I can think of ZERO other racing game out there that have the stuff you mention -- out or upcoming (P CARS is trying, we'll see how it goes--right now it's not looking good, but that's another topic).

You know an Enzo is a very very expensive supercar, but I think it's pathetic that it doesn't have a radio. How can that piece of crap be considered a car without a radio?! I feel like Ferrari is looking at me like I'm stupid, they are actually taking away content that was already in my previous Ferrari! Surely the more money I throw at things, it must get me more. Does the Enzo even have cupholders? Oh man, if it doesn't....phff...

Foza5 upgrade to next gen is average. I have played F1 2006 on PS2 and my first game F1 CE on PS3 released some 6yrs ago had mind blowing gfx. I couldn't believe the gfx of this game. They already had good car models, in practice they used higher LOD with 4xaa and on race lower. I would think this time at least it is constant across all modes and are using menu LOD. Just add better textures, HDR, bloom filter etc which PC mods can do in months and Crytek did it for Crysis2. This game is basically a Forza4 clone. I think it is shame the game is compared to current gen. But we will see in few months if they have improved the gfx

Lol. So he's saying they would have sacrificed resolution for graphics even if it was on PS4

What i want to know, is if the graphics where the same, would PS4 run it at 1080p...based on graphic card benchmarks...i'm thinking yes.

Also, how is it not a hurdle? Do they expect us to believe, from day 1, pre-production they sat down and said "we're going for 900p and upscaling, cos it's better then 1080p native? BULLSHIT! They hit a wall and made a compromise.

Why are you letting this bother you so much? You're overreacting just like the people in that twitter conversation. He's only saying that if Ryse was on the PS4 they wouldn't have changed anything. They would have made the same choices for enhanced shaders over screen fidelity. He said their reasons were for efficiency, he never once said anything negative about the PS4.

I know he never, don't recall saying he did?. I'm simply questioning his BS in regards to it being a choice rather then a hurdle. If they could, they'd be doing both, the fact they're not just means a compromise had to be made...IQ over visuals.

I'm not saying there should only be positive posts; however, we all know there are certain folks who only post negative things on certain threads.

Well I guess you could consider my post unnecessary and you could also consider me a stealth troll for posting that comment.

Maybe a cool down timer could be implemented? For example, if someone posts unnecessary comments in a thread they cannot post in the same thread for a specific duration. Kinda like this comment. :P
Or instead of giving complete control to the moderators have it as a like/dislike feature. Where if a certain % of users who have posted on the thread (whatever method works best) dislike a comment, the originator of the comment would be on a cool down timer. If the function is being misused or someone's comment is disliked with no reason then the moderators have the ultimate say.
