I don't blame people for playing and wanting new games, not at all. It's fine and good, i just wish that the games that deserved praise got it. I can understand that a lot of people don't "get" a game like VF, as it looks ugly, has mediocre animations at best and really just lacks in presentation, but the GAME is brilliant. If you get past the visuals it's one of the most engaging and interesting fighters out there. Extremely technical, with lots of characters built in to each characters move set and a great system around it. Even when VF5 FT was fairly new it was hard to find matches online. I just think that if people got over the threshold, so to speak, the good fighters would be more recognized. But i guess the amount of people willing to commit the required time and effort in to a single game is very limited.

I wish Capcom would step back and look at what made Third Strike so awesome and make a new game like that. Same with Tekken, i was quite disappointed with TTT2 and i really hope they take a step back and reevaluate the series for Tekken 7. It's been rather static since T5 and some change and rebalancing would be very much welcome (Take the combo damage down for fucks sake!). So i think there is defo room for new fighters, the makers of said games just need to find a balance between appealing to the casuals and providing interesting games. And as a side note to that, i very much doubt a new KI will bring that :P

Preaching to the choir, I think. Although in regards to Namco, I quite liked SC5. And I've never been a big Tekken fan, so I lack the proper context there.

I don't think there's anything particularly thrilling on the horizon either. Well, except Dive Kick.

Every genre had it's day in the sun. Flight Sims, Space Fighters, Side Scrollers, RPGs, TBS, RTS, Fighters, Dungeon Crawlers, Adventure, Puzzles, City Builders, God Games etc. In the end it was ceaseless repetition that killed them and gamer's interest.

The writing has been on the wall for FPS for some time, gamers' love affair with the genre has been long and protracted enough as it is. The graphics have gotten prettier over the years, but not much about the gameplay mechanics has changed. What are these publishers going to do when it flatlines? It would be nice if some of these studios would re-visit some of these old genres with new fresh approaches.

Gaming has such a rich legacy, yet so much of it goes unused.

The only new viable eSports genre are the DoTA clones. To say that the others have come and gone is sorta ridiculous. Fighters, RTS, FPS will all remain viable genres for a long time.

If anything, it's their time in the sun that's made them lose their way for some folks. FPS is really hot right now. I think it will continue to be for some time. And the masses standards are just lower.

This will plague any and every popular genre. It seems like the bigger something gets the worse it gets sometimes.

Op has wisely retreated recently and I respect him for that. He'll be back for E3. To be honest, I dont think he was being totally unreasonable, most of the time he just wanted everyone to be on the fence and wait for the facts and these will emerge come E3. I dont have any hope of MS redeeming itself though. They have ruined Xbox for me so far.

Reports of manufacturing problems with the eSRAM in the xb1, and having to lower clock speeds... no proof if its true or not but it doesnt sound good

Iit is ALL about the games so if they deliver the goods, I think they deserve a second chance. 2 conditions for me, no kinect on my games and fix the 2nd hand games issue. Regardless though, I definately am not buying a next gen console in the first year - that decision is made - until I know which of Sony/MS is going to give me the games I want (Action Adventure / Hack & Slash / JRPGs / WRPGs)

Jesus, if they lower the clocks this late games may be fucked, i mean they have been designing around very specific performance parameters. The performance goes up then great, but if this happens and performance drops 1/4 then you're looking at quick cuts to the games visuals, either choppy framerates or lowered resolution.

Games will be my decider also, ££ are a bit tight as of late so i need to see a game that i cant wait to play.

Nah, the left stick gets more use than the d-pad, so it's in the ideal position. Besides, it's still symmetrical in the sense that there are two control options up and two control options down. Acting like someone must have deformed hands because they prefer the 360 controller is silly.

If that's really the case then Microsoft needs to postpone the 2013 release, give it another 6 months dev time and release the overhauled system in 2014. If the already weaker XB1 gets even more weaker, then I think no harcore fan will buy it.

I don't get it Microsoft. There's nothing in your console that could possibly be causing these kinds of problems. You have cheap off the shelf gear, why is it overheating?! Gezz what a nightmare :P

Both 360/ps3 had these types of problems also though at launch as i remember?, it's the nature of the beast with new launches always mad rushing around and yield issues / manufacturing problems.

Happened before so it's ok for history to repeat itself? I don't want either console to have anything even remotely close to the failure rates of the RROD 360. That would just suck for everyone.

Yeah but they can't launch with these kinds of problems scoobs. They just can't. They got away with it last time because there WASN'T another console on the market, they do it again they will kill themselves.

Wow everyone with games at this year's E3, swallow the holiday season and take the console back to engineering and fix those problems. Delay and launch by E3 of 2014. Gamers will understand, they waited one year for the PS3, they will wait for 6 more months for the Xbox One.

    Driftwood C'est joli mais ça me fait penser au rendu de Hogwarts Legacy, très propre et clinique. C'était un très beau jeu aussi bien sûr, mais ça manque de personnalité pour un Fable. (il y a 1 Heure)
